What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This app was for our client, and it’s taken off. It’s done very well and developed a lot of interests. There’s a lot of user growth and activity growth. There was an existing app, an old version, but there wasn’t a large response to it.
How did Stack Summation perform from a project management standpoint?
I usually communicated via email or on Microsoft Teams. The majority of the team was very easy. I didn’t have any trouble. They’re always available for a call if needed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very committed. There were times when, especially working with the Ionic platform (frequent updates required), when it took longer than we estimated. It wasn’t their fault, though, merely a consequence of how Ionic works with iOS apps. Other developers have told me the same thing. Stack Summation has always been committed to performing their best and completing the task on time. They would work late nights as well to finish up. I really appreciated that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t know if they could have known about the updating issue with iOS beforehand.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you give a heads up and allocate enough time. Communicate as best you can so there’s less guesswork on their side.
