BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a creative studio that works on comics, animation, and design. I work as a VP and lead all client work.

For what projects/services did your company hire SQUIDMIND, and what were your goals?

We had hit a roadblock and a crisis was brewing for one of our clients where we were building a website for them which fell apart through the middle. We had to bring in Squidmind to bring the project back to life and they were able to help us.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They analysed it and used their expertise to fix every issue that we and the client were facing. They were confident of working on it even though it was a tricky proposition. And they had good costs + timelines.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

It was a shopify based website with a LOT of customisations which are typically not recommended for a platform like shopify. But Squidmind analysed and helped us make that website. A lot of custom modules were to be made, integrations with Vimeo, a thorough and user friendly backend along with tutorial videos on how to use it. The client was very particular about the design and functionality as they are from the same field.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Have been mainly working with one person who lead the entire project and I believe they are the project manager there. Didn't need to reach out to anyone else.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It's been a good experience working with Squidmind.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They were quite particular and formal, but very accommodating. We get detailed updates when needed. We coordinated on Whatsapp for ease of communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able ot take up this challenging project which 2-3 other people had declined due to the complexity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really.
