I'm the CEO of a development and digital marketing agency. I collect web and mobile app projects from other firms and distribute them to my team.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sparks To Ideas?

I was looking for a new development team for an app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sparks To Ideas designed and developed a cross-platform mobile app from scratch. Their team assigned an API expert to integrate a live news feed into the app. They also handled testing and deployment to the app stores.

I have two other projects with them, one is a laundry app and the other is a medical conditions app.

What is the team composition?

I've worked with Ashish (Managing Director), the head of the four-person team that includes a developer, a UI designer, and a teammate who runs the API integration.

How did you come to work with Sparks To Ideas?

Sparks To Ideas responded to my Fiverr request. I gave them a test, and they delivered an APK within two hours. I was sure they'd be the best vendor for the job.

How much have you invested with them?

The first app cost $2,000, and the second one was $2,800. However, the third one is still in development, so I don't have a cost for that yet. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Sparks To Ideas around November 2021, and our partnership is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although the first rendition of the app had several complaints about the 10-second loading time, Sparks To Ideas rectified it quickly and changed a backend function. Since Sparks To Ideas removed any app lags, customers have been leaving good reviews.  

How didSparks To Ideasperform from a project management standpoint?

Sparks To Ideas communication is top-notch and they're willing to make changes at no extra cost. They have a good response rate, and the owner usually replies within seconds. However, one time the owner got angry at me and left my message unanswered for hours. I talked to him to rectify the issue, and we've had great communication since.

The first app took a long time to complete because I was adding new features, but Ashish warned me that my changes stretched the timelines. The delay wasn't their fault at all. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ashish is friendly and supportive — he treats me like family. For example, he gave me business insights on what and what not to do for the laundry app I'm doing. Sparks To Ideas makes high-quality apps and has great teamwork.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for Sparks To Ideas to improve. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I'd advise customers to explain their projects to Ashish — he'll make them work.
