I am a senior engineer at EMTL India.  We are a home automation company. We manufacture touch panels, which are integrated with third-party controllers. Our company recently introduced our own application.

What challenge were you trying to address with Softqube Technologies Pvt Ltd?

We wanted to develop a cross-platform application that would work on both iOS and Android. We'd be able to control our smart features through the app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Softqube has developed our mobile app for us from scratch. We gave them our basic requirements. 

They needed to do an integration between our hardware and their software. That way, the application would communicate with our own gateway, and through our gateway, it would communicate with the touch panels. The project was divided into three phases, and we have completed the first two so far.

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with three people from their team, although I'm not sure how many people worked on the backend.

I heard about them through word of mouth.

We have spent between $10,000–$25,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in April 2019, and the work is still ongoing.

They have their particular strengths which allow them to develop apps efficiently and easily.

How did Softqube Technologies Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

We coordinated the project through Basecamp. This was totally new for me, as I hadn’t worked with this platform previously. But, I've found it to be a very good tool to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a good team of experienced people. The management is good, and they are bang-on when it comes to creating the product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have been good, and I haven’t found anything they can improve on.

Potential customers should definitely work with them. They are a very good company to get along with.
