Softec currently supports, maintains and improves our billing application called BPM and the main objective of hiring Softec was to keep the tool updated for new business needs.

The provider was selected from a list of approximately four providers, Softec had verifiable experience with several large local companies and at a fair and consistent price for the current market.

The BPM application is written in .net and with some modules in C#, they support the development process of improvements and new modules as well as the incident management of the application, all through remote support via VPN.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After hiring softec, BPM has an SLA signed with the DHL Express Paraguay business, response times to incidents are currently measurable and normally resolved within the agreed. Deliverables according to new developments are accurate after a learning period and after implementation of a change management process

Softec has a project management process tied to our local change management process, it is 100% predictive and communication with them is through emails and documents with technical requirements signed by parties, Softec provides project delivery Gantts when necessary. required for business.

I’m the owner of Rezti, a digital platform for restaurants.

What challenges were you trying to address with Softec?

They helped us with our web and mobile app development projects.  When we started with a business idea to enable restaurants to put up their menus and allow customers to make reservations, we already had some competition. As a result, we wanted to create a unique app that could stand out from our competitors.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted a web manager platform. We also wanted them to develop two mobile apps, one for users and another for restaurants, both for Android and iOS. We just talked to them about our ideas and they oriented us on what the best technologies were and created our platforms from scratch.

What was the team composition?

We worked directly with six people, including their two owners. 

How did you come to work with Softec?

They were referred by several people, so I met up with them. I also met other companies. In the end, we chose to work with Softec because of the professionalism they showed since our first contact.

How much have you invested in them? 

We spent $12,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership ran from August 2020–January 2021. Although the project ended, we still collaborate with them on updates and maintenance.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

During the first month, we had about 5,000 app downloads. After that, we collaborated with Softec on improving the UX and we received good feedback from our users. We kept most of our initial users, and they didn’t go with our competitors. We often heard that they find the app outstanding and we never heard any complaints.

How did Softec perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a very good communication relationship, and that was key for me since the beginning. I didn’t have any complaints about their responsiveness. As for deadlines, they agreed to finish the project within eight months and they finished it within six months.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Softec was truly skilled and professional. Another of the reasons why I decided to work with them was that they had previously developed a local uber-like platform which I really liked and had used before. Overall, I found that platform to be impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could add a commercial executive to work as a project manager.

We decided to trust them and had an amazing experience.

Our company had a change of course in the 2018, and since, we the shareholders, started the process of bringing ASEPASA to a new era of technology and development. We searched online for 3 developers, we interviewed every one of them, and chose finally Softec for their presentation, past projects and overall charisma, the way they connected with our mission.-

We had a series of meeting where we started to brainstorm the ideas that our company would accept, after two weeks, they delivered the first mock up of our web page and our app. Since there, we started the design process we our Marketing and Design team.

Within the first 3 months of our WebPage, we saw more than 1000 emails monthly coming to ASEPASA's inbox, where we acknowledged that our community needed a new way of interaction we our company.

The project manager was easy to communicate, was always available and receptive of every change that we wanted to do.

The way they interact with us, the clients, is that they share our ambitions and walk with us on this path, even up until today.

We needed a website to kickstart our cryptocurrency operations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Softec has initially conducted industry-specific research to learn more about cryptocurrency and blockchain development; since those are integral parts of our website. Upon concluding the first phase, they’ve devised front- and backend solutions to build our platform, mainly focusing on securing its backend. Additionally, they’ve done API integration to sync our website with BitGo, our wallet provider, and Bitfinex, a trading platform.

We can count on Softec to consistently deliver what we want and control our code with confidentiality. Our primary goal has always been to promote a user-friendly and secure platform among our customers, and Softec has achieved those for us by building a straightforward frontend and a robust backend.
