I'm the General Manager of Gestetner of Ceylon PLC and look after the digital transformation of the company

For what projects/services did your company hire Soft Gallery, and what were your goals?

We had issues with getting real time information on field staff and internal operative staff relating to HR processes. Therefore the objective was to find a simple, easy to use time attendance and core HR solution

We found Soft Gallery through a referral and deciding factors were, Value for money, ease of use and quick delivery

the process was very smooth. Only had a couple of meeting but the outcome was very quick and successful. First they did a requirement gathering, and proposed solution. Requested for some main data for core HR, leave management, time attendance. Then completed the development using .net stack and delivered on time.

5 people including:

• a project manager
• designer
• 2 software engineers
• a QA

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have now automated 95% of our leave and attendance through this solution and the core HR functions were also easily integrated with our other systems with help of Soft Gallery team. It was a very successful project.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The supplier used tools such as microsoft projects and it was very clear for us to see progress and review. Everything was done in time if not earlier.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were quick, attentive to detail, and their flexibility in providing the support we need was amazing. As far as the product is concerned, it is a very easy to use highly effective one.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would have been great to have some more modules such as inventory and finance
