I’m the CEO of Stralto Inc. We’re a solution provider that focuses on Microsoft products and business applications.

What challenge were you trying to address with INC SOFT?

We have a document tracking and management solution built for Microsoft Dynamics 365. It lets our clients upload documents, tag them, track them, view metadata, and create reports. It also had some rudimentary AI that scan documents and identify keywords based on different dynamic values. We wanted to add more machine learning capabilities.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INC SOFT helped me build out many different areas of our system, but a big part of their work was expanding our AI functionality. We wanted a solution that could automatically identify the type of document being scanned — whether it was a driver’s license or passport, for example — without having to be manually tagged by the scanner. It also needed to then detect if the document is fake and to populate the relevant data in our application.

Everything runs off of Node.js and the latest version of Angular. We’re also using AutoML and Google technologies to create our AI components and document classification tools.

What is the team composition?

We work with one developer from their team. Julia (CEO and Project Manager) is managing the project side.

How did you come to work with INC SOFT?

They were recommended to me by a mutual acquaintance. I wanted to find someone who could accommodate our small budget but couldn’t find folks in India, even though we already worked with some people there. Someone referred me to Julia, and she found a developer to work with me.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $25,000–$30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in February 2020. There’s some work left to do, but I can take the solution into production at any time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s been a very good experience overall. We need more Dynamics 365 developers and have had a hard time finding them right now. We’re looking to hire some through Julia.

How did INC SOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

Julia follows up almost every day to see how things are going. She ensures the project is on track and that there are no issues stopping progress. If there are, INC SOFT works to fix them right away.

What did you find most impressive about them?

If the developer doesn’t know something, he figures it out quickly and gets it done. I appreciate his ability to learn quickly and independently. He’s even suggested new features I hadn’t thought of, which added a lot of value. I appreciate the team’s initiative and ability to understand what I want to achieve.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s never been an issue. It’s a small project that I’m very closely involved with. We also only have a one-hour time difference because the developer is based in Houston. That’s made it even easier.

Any advice for potential customers?

You have to dedicate time to managing the project, but that goes for any company, not just INC SOFT. You should also be cognizant of any time differences. Julia’s been great. If you work with her or another project manager, your life will probably be easier.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We received first results very quickly and glad that it is accurate , fully comply to requirements. The team is dedicated and result driven, they really do it fast and qualitative.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

All the workflow ( in development process) we delegated to Inc Soft ( directly to Julia). We just receiving our software updates on time, as we asked

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I worked directly with PM Julia , and she is very responsible and providing good solutions to the product, she’s really into it. I strongly recommend to make contact with her.
