I’m the chief digital officer of Prepay Nation. We provide e-commerce services to mobile phone operators.

What challenge were you trying to address with INORDO?

We were looking to upgrade our mobile app’s UI/UX.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INORDO is improving our mobile app’s design — they are considering the customer’s perspective in particular. We’ve provided them with a brief before starting the engagement. 

INORDO has given us good feedback about customer experience that we hadn’t thought about before. Specifically, they’ve shown us how customers navigate through different screens and decide what to click. We are using Figma for this project. 

The app requires integrations with mobile operators to allow users to add credits to their phones. Additionally, users can retrieve their account balances and know their plan details using the app. Our app also allows users to share their transactions with their friends within their network.

INORDO has already completed their design work on the app. We’ve currently contracted them to redesign our website.

I work with the owner and a designer. 

How did you come to work with INORDO?

We found INORDO through Upwork. We initially did small projects with them, and we were super happy with their work. 

They had a good experience in designing mobile apps, and their principals had telecom experience. Additionally, the speed of their turnaround and quality of designs stood out. They were also good communicators. All those things made us hire them for a long-term partnership.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

INORDO’s work received strong and positive feedback from our clients. 

How did INORDO perform from a project management standpoint?

INORDO has performed very well in project management — it’s one of their strengths. We communicate through Slack, Jira, and Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a good understanding of the US aesthetic, which can be hard at times for offshore agencies. Their work with us shows they’ve done a lot of projects for firms based in the US, UK, and Europe.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In some cases, they’ve pushed concepts a little further than we wanted. However, in other cases, we would’ve loved it if they pushed even further than they did. In addition, it’ll be better if they can document their ideas. They should also be less reticent in speaking their minds. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I strongly recommend INORDO. Start the process with them by walking through what you’re trying to accomplish from the customer experience side before launching into the design.

We needed help with product mapping, marketplace design, and UI/UX development for our web and mobile apps.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did research, product mapping, and UX for us. They also created a roadmap that included user interviews, research, and the design of our marketplace app. In addition to that, they did UI/UX for our web and mobile iOS and Android apps.

What was the team composition?

There were about 4–5 people involved; that included the CEO, a project manager, two designers, and a researcher for the project.

They were referred to us by a friend.

We spent around $50,000–$100,000 with them,

We worked together from November 2020–February 2021.

They did a great job — we’re satisfied with their services.

How did Hegelt perform from a project management standpoint?

They were on schedule, and we didn’t have any issues regarding deadlines or deliverables. We used Slack to communicate, and also Jira for project management plus Figma for design collaboration.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their processes are very straightforward and clear — I liked that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

Be clear on your requirements, and they’ll establish an open relationship — good communication is key.

Fomci app is a merge of HR and PM software that will help small business and startups to manage Projects and HR stuff in one place. The app is still in the development due to technical issues with some API integrations.

Their team conduct market research and and user research. They created personas and first UX Wireframes, after that they worked on UI and created clickable prototype for my app

Two. One UX and one UI designer, also I was in contact with Ratomir (CEO)

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They created complete UI and UX for my product.

Easy to communicate and they delivered more than I expected

They blew me away with how they reviewed my product and all potential pain points.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
