We hired Smartsites to take over our SEO and our PPC. We wanted a more hands-on and responsive team than we previously had. We were/are primarily interested in optimizing our PPC and improving organic ranking for our main keywords.

Smartsites has significantly above our expectations. 

1. They are Very responsive to our questions and concerns, typically with same day replies unless I sent the email late in the day. 
2. Significant improvement in PPC results and SEO. 
3. They are providing MUCH more as far as services go, specifically content writing, making website changes/blog posts as needed without having to go through our web developer, and providing PPC management with SEO for the same price we were previously paying for SEO alone (without content writing and and website changes) 
4. Complete transparency in billing. They provide a detailed breakdown on how all billable hours are used 
5. Real-time viewing access (via ActiveCollab) to what is being done, by who, and communication with those individuals.

As stated previously, Christen and Darius are extremely responsive and thorough. One example is when our phones were more quiet than usual. I brought the issue up to Christen asking if she could look into any possible website or Google issues. She got back to me immediately with a plan. Within a few days, she had the results of her investigation and a plan of action. 

All deliverables within the control of Smartsites have been on schedule. The only times that any items were not delivered on time were instances where I was late getting them the information they needed.

I am amazed at the sheer quantity and high quality of work SmartSites performs, especially at the quoted price. I was concerned at first that it was too good to be true, but I am thrilled to report that my concerns were completely unfounded.

This is an ongoing project to provide full-service SEO, including PPC. A few months into the project, we were able to suspend our PPC campaign because we began getting enough leads with organic SEO. Key deliverables include backlinks, blog articles, and image content.

Smartsites are a huge improvement over our previous SEO agency. They have considerably more expertise than the vendor we were using previously.

We had one incident with site security, but it got past everyone including our maintenance company and website host. Ideally, we would like to avoid any security incidents in the future, but we also can't expect perfection. In a funny way, the attack on our site is actually a good sign becuase it implies the site is more discoverable.

Wonderful company! From the beginning of the sales call with Jared to the end of our current partnership, SmartSites has been so welcoming, easy to work with, knowledgeable, and communicative. Christen is a perfect account manager, ready to answer my questions within hours of me submitting them. She is on top of every update that needs approval or viewing by the customer. Organization info was submitted to at least 20 companies for marketing purposes/ranking. Professional to the max!

Peter is constantly updating my google analytics dashboard, campaigns, ad groups, experiments, targets etc with his expansive knowledge of PPC marketing. SEO, keywords and proper backlinks were fixed early in our collab so my site jumped to the top of search results. Every current and future task is logged within ActiveCollab and various spreadsheets so the customer always knows what's being worked on. Very organized and efficient.

I couldn't ask for a better team or marketing organization and hope to return to them soon!

I would never recommend this company. We began working with them for SEO in June, and the first deliverables were received in mid-September. We received about 40 directory profiles for $1800 per month. We decided to continue, but when October arrived, they only delivered about 5 new directory profiles. We requested that they stop with the directory profiles and start working on real backlinks. 

Despite this, in November, they provided us with another 4 new directory profiles, all for the same $1800 per month fee. By the end of November, we sent an email to our account manager, Katie, asking to stop creating directory profiles for $1800 per month, but we never received a response.

In mid-December, we decided to terminate the contract. However, they charged us for the month of December and the termination fee, even though we didn't receive any deliverables for December, not even additional directory profiles.

The experience wasn't very satisfactory because the project manager didn't seem to have much expertise in the actual work; they appeared to be more like salespeople. In fact, we learned that the actual workers on the project were subcontractors from Nepal, as the project manager mentioned once, so we had to wait to hear back from them to have an answer to our questions

I would never recommend. One of the most important emails I sent in order to keep them, they never answered. I was hoping to hire an experienced company that knows their job, but it seems like they're more like an extra employee you have to supervise closely to ensure they're not just taking money from your bank account every month.
