Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the co-founder of a car wash in Singapore. We provide car wash services to the clients at their doorsteps or clients can visit us at our washing stations.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Skylark Infotech, and what were your goals?

We are one of the popular car wash service providers in Singapore having 2200+ regular customers. We wanted to develop a car wash app used by our customers to manage their subscriptions, schedule/book their car wash, and get updated with the offers and discounts. Managing all customers' data in an offline manner is very tough for our team, which leads us to plan this platform to manage everything with the help of technology.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were in search of a team of good app developers who can convert our idea into a fully functional app. We got a reference from one of our friends who has already taken services for Skylark Infotech for his business. He introduced us to the Skylark Infotech. After a few meetings over Skype calls with their Sales and Business Analyst team, we are ready to work with them on our app idea.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

After discussion for 10 to 15 days over so many calls, the scope of work was defined by their team that covers almost all small details about the app too. They started work on the wireframe and then prototype and after a few revisions, we were ready with the designs. Their Business Analyst team suggested Flutter technology for app development and Nodejs for the backend. Deliverables for our requirements will be Android and iOS apps, and a web admin panel.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Around 5 resources work on our project from their team. We were in discussion with the Project Manager and Senior Flutter developer for regular development updates. UI/UX Designers, Web Designers, Flutter Developers, Backend developers, Business Analyst, and Account manager

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is in the final stage of testing and development. Till now we are satisfied with the build of apps shared with us. Apps were tested by our team and shared with some of our customers to get their feedback. They are excited and waiting for the final version of the app now. We are pretty sure to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers with the launch of this app.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

From start, we were in constant communication with the Project Manager and Account Manager for updates on the progress. They provide us Slack access to track the tasks and plan the next tasks accordingly. My team also communicated with their Senior developers, and UI/UX team lead to get the best design for the app.

They are always available to answer the questions raised by our team and help us to understand how this solution will work for us. For communication, we used Zoom calls, WhatsApp, Phone calls, and email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their experience in Mobile Apps is most impressive. We approached them with a rough idea, and they present us with a solution that works well for our business. We were in discussion with 6 to 7 other vendors and found Skylark Infotech’s quote best. We spent around $55,000 on this project and outcome is really good.

There were a few challenging tasks in our requirement. The team of Skylark Infotech understands our requirements in the best possible way and helped us to build the custom APIs after a deep research on different scenarios. Their commitment to delivering the solution is something we found impressive too.

Within a short time, they are known as one of the top industry leaders for Mobile Apps, and custom software solutions showing how hard they work. No Complaints from our side.
