Our company serves Pre-K to Grade 12 students, their parents, and their schools by delivering customized back-to-school supply kits and offering an innovative online learning platform to reinforce classroom instruction and supplement student learning.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The purpose of this project was to develop a robust and innovative online learning platform intended to be used by Pre-K to Grade 12 students, their parents, and their teachers. 

The platform had to be safe and secure, capable of serving tens of thousands of students at a time, and easy enough for students (including some who are quite young) to use. 

Key deliverables included full stack design and development of the platform, the ability to easily upload course content (videos, files, web links)for thousands of topics, the ability to easily add quizzes with questions and answers, the ability to automatically score quizzes, the ability to record results for each student and teacher, the ability to motivate students with reward cards, badges, and leaderboard rankings, the ability to design reward cards and badges, and to assist with the development of promotional materials and implementation of a social media marketing campaign.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A fully functional online learning platform that successfully performed all use cases. A fully tested product with no bugs. Successful upload of over 800 courses and associated quizzes. 

Project completed on time and within given budget. In the future marketing support will be measured by number of platform users and customer response.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The company provided a single point of contact who managed all project updates. The project manager was competent, innovative, responsive, and made the process easy for us. The project team delivered all items on time and within budget. 

The project team added many new features as we added an increasing number of requirements. The project manager kept us informed of progress and made helpful suggestions as to how to best implement new features so that the platform would be responsive and easy for end users to use. 

The project manager and the project team were patient with changes and provided top tier quality for graphics, user interface, admin panels, and student/teacher dashboards. In short, we could not be more pleased and look forward to continuing to work with the team in the future.

This company took the time to thoroughly understand what would make our company and our end users successful. The project team members, from the developers to the graphic designers to the data support members, all went above and beyond to provide a first rate product that exceeds all expectations.

They set the bar high and always provide superior results that meet budgetary and schedule expectations. Our end users are students and teachers and we feel like the project team really worked hard to make those students and teachers successful.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Single Solution could have done differently?

No, the Single Solution team is experienced, responsive, and innovative. Their project teams produce top notch products in a highly professional fashion. Our team could not be more pleased with their efforts on our project.

The main goal was to build a website that could handle numerous clients as well as integrate third-party trading apps.

They listened to what I had to say and met my expectations perfectly, even on specific subjects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Single Solution could have done differently?

I don't know if it's possible from a logistical point of view, but 2 backend developers might have been better, I have absolutely no criticism to make of the backend developer, on the contrary. It's just that I think the workload was too heavy for just one person.
