Sacred Graph is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of the SweatTag platform—a scalable, athlete-centric social and performance network that enables athletes and coaches to connect, document development, and collaborate across an entire athletic lifecycle. The work is executed using an agile, sprint-based methodology, prioritizing foundational infrastructure, core user profiles, relationship modeling, and early network effects.

The scope includes backend architecture, mobile application development, database modeling, API development, deployment infrastructure, and collaboration with SweatTag product leadership on feature prioritization and iteration.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project delivered clear, measurable progress by moving SweatTag from concept to a live, production-capable MVP foundation. Sacred Graph successfully stood up full cloud infrastructure with staging and production environments, deployed iOS and Android apps to beta testing, and implemented secure athlete and coach onboarding with fully functional profile creation, editing, and public viewing. A graph-based database was integrated and operational, enabling multiple relationship types (athlete–athlete, athlete–coach, coach–coach) and establishing SweatTag’s core technical differentiator: relationship-aware data instead of static profiles.

In addition, the platform now supports foundational social and utility features, including activity feeds, user-generated posts, engagement actions, search, and early training/practice workflows. Admin tools and analytics were implemented to track usage and inform product decisions, while Stripe checkout, notifications, and referral mechanisms were put in place to support monetization and growth. Collectively, these outcomes demonstrate that SweatTag is now technically scalable, ready for real user onboarding, and positioned to validate engagement, iterate quickly, and progress toward product-market fit.

Sacred Graph managed the project using an agile, sprint-based approach with regular planning, check-ins, and milestone reviews. Core infrastructure and MVP features were delivered on schedule, with clear visibility into progress throughout the engagement. When priorities have evolved, the team has been responsive and flexible—adjusting scope, incorporating feedback, and providing thoughtful guidance to keep development aligned with SweatTag’s goals. Overall, communication was consistent, timelines were respected, and collaboration felt proactive rather than reactive.

Honestly, I would say the in depth knowledge of graph databases and how to clearly communicate the their ideas while implementing the best practices. And never missing a thing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Sacred Graph could have done differently?

At the time, I can't remember anything I did not like. The experience was a stellar experience and I would use them over and over again.
