We are a team of agile lawyers, all sourced from top international and local law firms, with an impressive track record of achievements acquired over time in high-profile transactions and complex disputes conducted in a wide array of practice areas.

Our idea was to create an innovative mobile app that can serve as a guide and lawyer contact tool with useful information on the behavior of target entities and individuals involved in an activity conducted by a judicial authority (e.g. police, prosecutors, DNA, DIICOT, court) during the course of investigation proceedings. That is why we needed a team of experienced software engineers that could understand our goals and thus complete the project in a very fast and clean manner.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We initially reached out to several different vendors when we began searching. RiseApp’z offered thorough analysis and experienced advice before we even agreed to hire them, which was very impressive. RiseApp’z stood out as a certified ISO 27001 supplier with the capabilities and proficiency to build what’s most necessary for what we needed. We also paid attention to their portfolio and testimonials and we knew they are the one. More than that they were friendly (and remained that way after signing the contract) and we were amazed by their genuine willingness to really help and deliver a great project. We were really happy with their after delivery program – three month free maintenance after that.

RiseApp’z built the entire mobile platform, both front-and-backend, for us from the ground up. They completed the coding and the application was completely customized. The application is for both iOS and Android devices and then they gave us the backend for the administration of the application. Both versions are completely finished and are available to download both on Play Store and Apple Store.

There were four people assigned to our project: a Web Developer, a Mobile App Developer, a QA Tester and a Project Manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

These app was very well received by our clients and it represented a first in the legal market in Romania. Our position on the market and general perception has significantly improved. That is why we have created another mobile application for our clients with RiseApp’z too.

They were using Slack in communication and Agile principles in their processes, but the most impressive project management style was the natural and transparent way to communicate the process. We weren’t a technical team so they explained technical details in a manner that everything was easily understood.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Project Manager – that was our main point of contact made all the communication very easy, he communicated the ongoing process in a very friendly manner and that assured our peace of mind that the project was in very good hands. They seem to really understand the project objective and they make all the necessary steps to build the app that returns ROI, like it was their business. They delivered on time and they were very transparent, plus they are a budget-friendly company.

We were satisfied all the way through! The RiseApp’z team did a great job!

I'm an Asset Manager at Macromex. We are the leader of the frozen and refrigerated food industry in Romania. We have both our own brands and products from international partners with whom we manage to cover the needs of over 11,000 customers.

We wanted to develop a mobile application for our field users to manage and inventory the company's assets. At the same time we want to have a clearer picture of material transfers and an accurate stock record.

I made the inventory 2 months earlier than I did before. We have a clearer picture of the equipment and its details to provide to customers.

It was very easy to communicate with the project manager. We debated and resolved all the details very quickly.

I worked for a company which is present on Romanian market since 2002 and is one of the main providers of pipes, fittings and accessories for water and industrial pipelines.

We needed a mobile app to track the pipes deliveries both from our warehouse to the client and from the supplier to our warehouse or client.

The main goal of the project is to keep our clients informed in real time about the stage of product deliveries to the construction sites.

RiseApp is an existent partner of APS Romania and it was the first choice for developing such an app.

The transporter has to install the app, the he'll scan an QR code for receiving an associated transport from APS Romania. The app is tracking the GPS location until the transporter unload the products and confirm this action. He can also take pictures with the delivery documents signed by the receiver on site.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with RiseApp staff in order to have the data sent and received through our inhouse developed APIs.

The application is still in testing phase with some selected transporters.

We made a shortlist of 4 local vendors. We wanted professionalism, flexibility and a good price/performance ratio.

We wanted native apps for iOS and Android. Since we did not have a background in mobile apps, we wanted a vendor that had experience and could propose the UI and UX to choose from. After this the development went smooth, having regular feedback to be sure that we were on track at any point.

It also offers a functionality through which you set goals to change your weight An application created with the expertise of cardiologists and nutritionists, which helps you eat right, healthy, cheap and without wasting time, inspired by the Mediterranean diet, strongly recommended by professionals as effective in preventing cardiovascular disease and other noncommunicable diseases.

The novelty of this application is that you have in one place all the activities dedicated to food, from choosing the menu to serving it. It also offers a functionality through which you set goals to change your weight so that it becomes very easy to lose weight.

Development of two legal apps, both available for Android and iOS mobile devices which act as useful guides and means to contact a lawyer in the case of a police search or a dawn raid by the consisting of information you need during a police search or a dawn raid by the competition authority.

What were your goals for this project?

The solution was to develop and publish the legal apps (White Collar and Dawn Raid), which even though similar had been done before by very large international law firms, this was a first in the Romanian legal market.

We selected the vendor by an online search and sending multiple requests for offer to multiple solution providers in Romania. After receiving the offers from multiple providers and screening them via phone calls and emails we decided to go with RiseApp due to their offer, professionalism and eagerness to get involved in this process.
