Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a co-founder of anymator.de, a Berlin-based SaaS startup that enables users to quickly and easily create animated video content online.

For what projects/services did your company hire Riff Point LLC?

Our initial website design was desktop based and not at all optimized for mobile device users. We had basic breakpoints in place, but it was a little rough around the edges, so we needed a design company to help us.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to redesign and redevelop our UX, simplifying designs to make them more accessible to mobile users.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We found them online on an outsourcing platform. We interviewed five or six agencies and conducted multiple interviews with each. Riff Point stood out with their precise questions and communication.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They redesigned the mobile version of our frontend based on our Photoshop mockups and UX wireframes. Riff Point also provided QA after each step of the way. The mobile CSS extended our existing in-house framework seamlessly.

What was the team composition?

We had one point of contact for project management, who was also in charge of sales, as well as one technical project manager. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

While we only recently finished the project, we've already seen an uptick in traffic and rendered videos, which is potentially related to the redesign.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Riff Point was very efficient. We used a combination of Trello, Git for version control, and an online video review tool called Frankie.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were very happy with their immediate communication as well as the clean and structured code they produced, which integrated really well in our existing framework.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were initially reluctant to hand over some server credentials to them, which led to a bit of a delay from both sides. Next time we collaborate, we will be more forthcoming.

I'm the founder of Sharely.ch, a Swiss-based sharing platform. Users can lease and rent out staff from their neighbors as part of the growing sharing economy.

We’re a fully digitalized online platform. Our solution needed to be as convenient as making a purchase, so our development company had to have a full range of skills and expertise.

What were your goals for this project?

To set up and improve our desktop and mobile web platform, to create native iOS and Android apps, to meet state-of-the-art security standards, and to improve our UX and boost performance.

How did you select this vendor?

Riffpoint performed the best in our online analysis, particularly in terms of their fast reactions and overall competence.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

First, they improved our existing Sharely platform. After that, we set up the native apps and they will soon begin to rewrite all our whole code.

What was the team composition?

We have a project manager, two leads for web and app development, a test pool, and many other resources available for specific issues during the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Sharely is growing fast thanks to the platform running smoothly. Riff Point is always available if we have any issues on the client side.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We’re able to get everything we needed from them. We work in sprints and use agile project management tools. Overall, we have a lean and effective development and management structure.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They not only implement what we suggest, but they always find the best solution for our clients, which we really appreciate.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In an intensive collaboration, there is sometimes room for improvement. We act on a high level of competence and performance, so if we have an issue, it's solved quickly.
