What challenge were you trying to address with Prospect Connect?

We were lucky to be awarded a grant from the local government to do business development for ourselves. Thus, we used this opportunity to get help with B2B telemarketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prospect Connect provided us with outbound telemarketing services. Initially, they took the time to understand our business and speak with our internal founders and directors. The purpose was to align their messaging so that they could speak on our behalf when performing their services.

During the discovery phase, we provided Prospect Connect with basic high-level presentation materials based on the company’s goals. Still, we didn’t provide them with scripts; their team was in charge of everything. They did their own research, found and chose the target clients, and approached them individually.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two agents and a project manager from Prospect Connect.

How did you come to work with Prospect Connect?

After we received the grant, we did a procurement exercise based on certain strict criteria tied to that grant. Out of that exercise, we identified three companies that met the criteria and could have delivered the project. However, Prospect Connect’s pitch was the best one for us, and we wanted them to get the contract. Later, that was reconfirmed by the local government.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $10,000–$15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June–August 2022. However, we’ll work on another project with them very soon.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Prospect Connect managed to increase our pipeline value very positively. As a result, we’re now looking like we could close a good ratio of that business. Overall, they achieved all the goals we had initially set.

How did Prospect Connect perform from a project management standpoint?

Prospect Connect delivered their work on time and within budget. They were also very responsive; our account manager was on the phone with us every week. We communicated via phone calls, emails, and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Prospect Connect’s honesty was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. Everything was very positive, and I wish I could work with them more.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Brief them thoroughly and tell them everything you think is relevant about your company so that they can use it in their telemarketing efforts.
