What challenge were you trying to address with Revaalo Labs?

We needed people who could clearly understand our automation requirements and deliver a solution quickly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Revaalo Labs designed a Windows application with complex integrations with PLCs, robots, cameras, and RFID scanners. The team also handled other UI-related tasks, including reporting and notifications. The app was a complete machine management system with production management and reporting features.

We worked with three members of Revaalo Labs’ team.

How did you come to work with Revaalo Labs?

We found Revaalo Labs through a connection. We chose them over other options because of their domain knowledge and cost.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent roughly $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June 2024–February 2025. However, we’re continuing to work with them on similar machines with the required changes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The machine is working perfectly fine, and Revaalo Labs has incorporated the customer changes. The software has played a great role in the machine’s success, and the usability, user management, real-time alerts, and robot control are all perfect.

How did Revaalo Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Revaalo Labs delivered on time and responded well to our needs. Our customers were a bit strict on quality and delivery, so Revaalo Labs had to work beyond their time. Some last-minute changes were also requested, but the team addressed them.

We communicated via email and phone calls. The team was also available for meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Revaalo Labs’ domain knowledge and cost-effectiveness were impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could add more resources.
