Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the VP of Growth & Strategy for Impact Integrated, a company limited by guarantee (CLBG) under Ministry of Youth and Sports to spur youth-driven social impact, through a multi-stakeholder model including NGO, civil society, philanthropic organization, corporations, social innovators and tech.

#ImpactTolongHantar, i-MFLS

What were your goals for this project?

Under the “#ImpactTolongHantar” campaign, Impact Malaysia’s team is working with delivery partners such as TheLorry & Bungkusit, grocers such as Pak Grocer, MyGroser & Mydin and NGOs such as Kechara Soup Kitchen & NGOHub to deliver food supplies to needy households within the B40 segment.

In addition, a separate campaign is also launched to supply our frontliners from Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Selangor with refreshments.

SOLUTION

How did you select RedSquare Software?

When we first started working with Redsquare Technologies, they helped us with the handover of the old Picksum website, from retrieving the data from the previous vendor, setting up the architecture necessary for hosting, and maintaining the current stack.

In addition to that, RedSquare has helped us revamp our website by providing us a complimentary service as an upgrade to our current system, which is technologically more advanced and more user-friendly than the previous version. They have also provided us with valuable recommendations on analytics and advice on strategy.

Describe the project in detail.

#ImpactTolongHantar is a collaborative effort championed by Impact Malaysia to help various groups, charities and organizations to help deliver essential supplies interstate to Malaysians in need during various Movement Control Order (MCO) periods.

The initiative connects both organizations and individuals, with those affected by the current situation, with micro and medium-sized delivery partners. RedSquare Technologies had a hand in helping us by swiftly deploying a one-pager under a week on Impact Malaysia’s website explaining the operations and goal of #ImpactTolongHantar.

The one-pager consisted of important information and a form to connect aid providers that were willing to participate in the programme. RedSquare was incredibly helpful and cooperative until the end of the programme by coordinating their team members remotely during the lockdown period which we deeply appreciate.

What was the team composition?

We were assigned a project manager that helped us strategise, operationalise and analyse the campaign's effectiveness and implementation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With an expenditure of RM147,662.54 on delivery cost and donations towards communities in need, #ImpactTolongHantar initiative has successfully aided 50,016 people including front-liners and 15,498 households across Malaysia.

The initiative is a collaborative effort by Impact Malaysia to help organizations, groups and individual donors that are facing issues in terms of logistics and delivery of essential goods during the MCO and CMCO period.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager coordinated with multiple smaller groups on content optimisation/update, whilst making sure that it follows the agreed strategy.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The ability to turnaround and optimise the platforms very quickly is really impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

UI/UX design.

To have a website to engage young Malaysian listeners to listen and watch content created and curated by Rakita 107.9

We at Rakita 107.9 are grateful to have had work done for us by RedSquare Technologies. Their contribution towards revamping of our website has proven to increase users, their experience and engagement.

In addition,our annual cost has reduced from RM 150K to RM 4K with analytics.This savings has allowed us to focus on other areas to ensure brand awareness and sustainability moving forward. "A great team for all your tech needs"

Designing of the entire website with seem-less UIUX and to have non stop streaming of audio and video for audience.

What was the team composition?

ideas were shared with the Red-square team and the rest was history as they say. it was easy to explain what was needed and they delivered accordingly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 6 months, we started to increase in engagement and signs up.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Pretty effective as we had face to face meeting a couple of times and the rest was done by emails and within the set time frame, we had our website up and running.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Easy to work with and they understood the need of the radio business.
