Premier Tier Laravel & Vue Partner 100+ Developers
Redberry is a Premier Tier Laravel and Vue partner agency, and one of the few in the world to do so.
We started 12 years ago as a small agency founded by four friends who simply loved building software. Today we’re a 200-person team, including 100+ developers, and we’ve delivered 300+ web and mobile applications along the way.
Laravel sits at the core of most of the products we build. Over the years we’ve developed everything from multi-tenant SaaS platforms and complex custom systems (ERP, CRM, financial platforms, loyalty systems) to e-commerce platforms, APIs, mobile apps, and high-performance websites.
Our clients range from early-stage startups to publicly traded enterprises across the US, UK, the Middle East, and more than 10 EU countries. Although we’re based in Georgia (the country, not the U.S. state), most of our work is international.
Companies typically work with us in two ways:
Managed Projects - we take ownership from product design and architecture to development, launch, and evolution.
Staff Augmentation - we embed experienced Laravel and Vue developers directly into existing teams.
All of that might sound expensive. Fortunately, it usually isn’t.
Georgia offers significant tax benefits for software outsourcing, which helps us keep costs lean. Combined with our deep Laravel expertise and structured delivery operations, this allows us to deliver engineering quality that’s hard to match for the price.
If you're building with Laravel or Vue, there's a good chance we can help.
Redberry offers competitive pricing, with projects ranging from $8,000 to over $500,000. Clients appreciate the value for cost, emphasizing quality work, timely delivery, and responsive communication. Many noted strong project management and adaptability, making them a favored choice for various software development needs.

"The Redberry team is exceptionally talented."

Redberry was hired to provide custom development services for a financial services company. They built the entire software from scratch in Laravel using the client’s requirements and process flows.
Redberry exceeded the client's expectations. The team was exceptionally talented and had a humanistic approach to their work. Moreover, they were flexible and committed to addressing needs and bringing creative solutions.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO of a financial services company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
As we transitioned to a more digital approach in our business, we required a personalized application that could cater to our clients' needs.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry built us complete software using Laravel from scratch and deployed it on AWS. They helped us plan our service entirely from scratch. The application needed to be accessible on both web and mobile platforms, specifically iOS and Android.
We initially submitted our user requirements documents, business requirements, and process flows to them. These were comprehensive documents that we had created over three months. The Redberry team successfully translated our needs into a straightforward application design. It had a lot of complex requirements and wasn't a standard application, but their team was able to meet those requirements.
In addition, we provided them with our internally designed UX. Their frontend developers demonstrated excellent skills in translating these designs into the final product.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a project manager, someone who worked on the server, two frontend developers, four backend developers, and two mobile app developers. Additionally, the CEO was also personally involved.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
I want to shout out Gaga (Founder & CEO). He took a personal interest in the project and was entirely hands-on. Sarang (Senior React Developer) was quite proactive. Even though we didn't give completely clear instructions regarding the design, he could develop his recommendations and enhancements without us asking.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
We found Redberry through Clutch.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with Redberry in December 2022. We've paused the project until we clarify some internal processes. We will be continuing the relationship.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We would say that Redberry exceeded our expectations. We previously worked with another developer, but it was an absolute disaster. In just one month, Redberry accomplished what took the other developer three months to complete. Overall, the whole Redberry team was quite proactive.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
Our project manager could have improved their communication regarding updates, as we expected more frequent updates. However, despite this, the timelines were still met.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The Redberry team is exceptionally talented. They really wanted to understand what we were trying to achieve. They had a very humanistic approach and came up with excellent suggestions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think they have anything to improve on. Our experience with Redberry has been excellent. They are highly adaptable and eager to learn. When we expressed concerns about their testing approach, they promptly addressed the issue and developed a more comprehensive strategy. They are receptive to feedback and actively listen to our suggestions. Overall, it has been a pleasure to work with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When working with any developer, it's essential to be very clear on what your requirements are. You don't need to have everything figured out, but it's necessary to have a general idea of what you want to achieve. Once you clearly understand your goals, the Redberry team can adeptly develop code to get you there.

Redberry has built a website for a construction company using Laravel Nova and Citrix System for custom features. Their work has included UI/UX design, front- and backend development, and continuous support.
Redberry has delivered a functional website on time and within budget, meeting the client's requirements. The team is highly communicative via Slack, Google Meet, and WhatsApp. Moreover, they're flexible, timely, understanding, and always willing to find the best solution for the client's needs.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the director of sales and marketing at Monolith Group, a construction and development company. We have a huge construction project in Tbilisi, Georgia.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
We wanted to create a new website for our company.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, we provided Redberry with a brief of what we wanted to have on our new website, and they came back with a proposal. After that, we continued working on the details. Their team sent us a series of technical documents on which all the details were included. Once we went through all the details, we gave our approval to move forward with the project.
Redberry next started working on the UI/UX design. Throughout this process, their team provided us with all the details to get us involved. Once they finished the designs, they started developing the web page, which required front- and backend development.
Redberry divided the development process into several releases. After every release, their team gave me one week to revise all the details and get our approval to continue moving forward with the project. As for the technology stack, Redberry has used Laravel Nova and Citrix System for the CRM.
Now, Redberry provides us with continuous support. They have a really big company with different branches, so they also help us manage our social media pages. However, that's a different team and a different project.
The main feature of our website is that customers can choose our development project, see the different blocks, choose the one they're interested in, see all the floors of departments in that block, and choose the exact department they're interested in. They can also see which apartments have already been sold. Once selected, customers can see how many square meters the department has, where the balconies are, and even where they can expect the sunrise and sunset.
Users can even access a 360° rendered view of the apartment to help them visualize how their apartment will look. They can also book an appointment using a form connected to our CRM system. After booking an appointment, a sales manager will contact the customer. In addition to apartments, customers can also see our commercial spaces for sale.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with 10–15 teammates from Redberry, including two designers, an account manager, a couple of testers, and some developers.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
Redberry is a well-known company in Georgia. Our country is not really big, so we only have 4–5 really good companies in every field. Redberry is one of the best companies in web development, so we contacted them.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent approximately $60,000 on the website development project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around October 2023, and the website took about four months to complete. Still, our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Although performance metrics depend on our digital marketing manager, I can say that the web page that Redberry has built is working well. Everything is exactly as we initially required.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
Redberry has delivered work on time and within budget, which has been very important. In fact, their project management has been the best part of working with them. The team is very communicative and pleasant to communicate with since they understand everything we tell them. We use Slack and Google Meet to communicate. We have meetings all the time, and I can even communicate with our account manager via WhatsApp, as they're very flexible.
On top of that, Redberry's responsiveness to issues is very fast. They're natural problem-solvers who don't just do whatever we tell them. Instead, they always try to find the best solution for our needs. They feel like team members who suggest how to do things based on our needs, which shows that they think about solutions along with us.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Gvanca (Senior Account Manager) and Mariam (UI/UX Design Team Lead) are great. Still, we have a dedicated team working on our project, and they're all great as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Before we started working with them, we got to do a mini-tender process with the top three companies in Georgia. What stood out about Redberry was that they understood what we needed and what our budget was in the best way possible. Additionally, their timing was better, as they provided a shorter timeline for this project than the other two companies.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't have any comments regarding improvements. We're very thankful for their work, and we haven't experienced any problems with our project.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
If you need a good website and high-quality products within a good budget and on time, you should hire Redberry. I highly recommend them.

“They were great; the engagement was almost perfect.”
A software developers marketplace hired Redberry to hire experienced Vue.js developers for an end client. The team developed an arcade hub and created a sprint plan for the project.
The end client was impressed with Redberry’s quality work and dedication to the project. The team went above and beyond and delivered work outside the scope. Moreover, they delivered ahead of schedule and communicated well through Slack, weekly meetings, and Jira. Overall, everything was a success.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m on the commercial team as a new business manager for a marketplace of software developers. We work with clients in many different ways. Sometimes we augment teams; other times, we deliver projects for them. Companies may give us a brief to build their software and then hand it back to them, so our engagements vary depending on our clients and how they want to work with us.
In particular, I work with the clients and our delivery teams to match them up and ensure our partners can deliver the work the client seeks.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
Our client didn’t have enough internal resources to develop a feature they wanted to build using Vue.js.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry built an arcade hub. We worked with them to find a team of Vue.js developers to work alongside the end client.
Initially, we had a brief and many calls with the end client to understand the requirements. We also did backlog sessions with the team to create a roadmap. Ultimately, Redberry created a sprint plan based on the client's information.
What is the team composition?
We had five teammates.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
We initially didn’t hire them directly; they worked through us for one of our clients. They came to us, and we picked Redberry as one of our partners.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent £81,000 (approximately $101,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from August 2023–March 2024.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We only dealt with Redberry during the pre-sales. However, we knew that the whole team was well-regarded by the end client. They enjoyed Redberry’s quality work and had many positive comments; it was a successful engagement.
Moreover, Redberry went above and beyond delivering the scope. The team actually delivered additional work. The client was incredibly happy because they got more work than they paid for.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
Redberry met expectations, and the client was happy because they delivered the feature ahead of time. We had joint Slack channels and weekly stand-up meetings. We also shared a Jira board, so communication was excellent.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were great; the engagement was almost perfect. It was one of those projects that ran without any hitches.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t suggest any improvements, honestly.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear with the brief and requirements, and take the time to be upfront and explain what you’re looking for. By removing any risks or assumptions, Redberry will be able to produce a solid, accurate proposal and create a structured delivery plan.

Redberry provides ongoing IT staff augmentation services for a tours and travel platform. The developers work closely with the internal team, building features using Laravel and PHP.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Cyclando, a tour operator and travel platform. We focus on cycling holidays all over the world.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
We needed to do a lot of work with developers, but finding good developers in Italy is difficult. They’re either very young or too expensive, so there’s a lack of available developers. As a startup, we needed to develop all of our features quickly.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry helps us and works with our team as far as we need or want them to. They’re flexible, so we can increase or reduce the team whenever we need. Our team has an internal CTO and a third developer, so Redberry is our team extension.
We use a lot of Laravel and PHP. Initially, we created the documentation and set up the working procedures before we got our first developer.
What is the team composition?
We started with a senior developer and then added some junior developers. We now only work with two junior developers.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
I met them at a summit in Lisbon. Their proposal was very interesting because they weren’t taking over the project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about €40,000 (approximately $43,000 USD) in 2023. We’ve spent another €15,000 (approximately $16,000 USD) this year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in March 2023, and our partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our measure of success is the number of features done, but I can’t give the number without asking my CTO first. We coordinate and are responsible for the project, so Redberry doesn’t have to reach a certain level or have a certain number of things to do.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is on our side. We don’t have a project manager on Redberry’s side; it’s just a team extension. Their developer is on our team full-time, and they participate in our sprint planning and daily reviews.
We communicate with Redberry for administrative issues. We mainly use Google Meet, but they use GitHub or Slack among developers.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
My contact is the guy I met in Lisbon, and I’m very happy I met him. He’s good at explaining things. He’s had some calls with my CTO and me, and every time we have an issue to discuss, he’s flexible and quick to answer.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their quality of developers is outstanding. We realized their junior developers weren’t that junior; Redberry did a good job selecting them.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CTO of a property technology (PropTech) company. We have a platform that deals with real estate investments.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
Redberry provided us with staff augmentation services. We have an internal tech team, and they provided us with developers to assist our team.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry helped our internal team build our CMS as well as our mobile application.
Initially, they began by sending us the CVs of some of the developers from which I picked the ones that I liked. We scheduled interviews with each one of them which went well. After joining the team, they went through the regular onboarding process through the tooling and the domain. Then, they started contributing to the project.
What is the team composition?
The number of team members varied between 2–5 people, including a senior backend engineer, one mid-level backend engineer, two mid-level frontend engineers, and one senior frontend engineer.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
We were essentially looking for an agency that works with Laravel, which is an open-source PHP framework; Redberry was one of the agencies we found.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with Redberry from May 2022–June 2023.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
As Redberry joined us at the beginning of the project, they helped us deliver the first MVP and some other major features. The team from Redberry was very professional, and responsive, and always made sure that deadlines were met. In fact, it almost felt like they were part of our internal team.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
We managed the project internally; however, the developers always delivered on time. We mostly communicated through Linear, which is a project management application.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The Redberry team was very responsive, and the quality of their developers was impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There could have been a bit more involvement in the beginning when it came to integrating the developers, but that wasn’t anything major.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend making sure that the contract fits your working conditions.

Redberry provides custom software development services for a credit education platform. They’ve built the client’s platform using an existing mockup and integrated it with Equifax’s API.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of VacayHQ. We’re a credit education platform; we offer a credit recommendation tool. Our mission is to help people build good credit, so we also offer free credit coaching services. We help people build their credit and travel for free using credit card reward points.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
We engaged Redberry to help build our credit card recommendation tool.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
When I first met with Redberry, they helped us rebuild our existing mockup to make it more functional. They used our existing designs to build out wireframes. Then, we asked them to integrate the tool with Equifax, which is a significant credit bureau. The Equifax API isn’t well-documented, so Redberry worked alongside us to get in touch with Equifax and figure out how their API worked.
The Redberry team hopped on our phone calls with Equifax and asked the right questions to gather the necessary information. Then, they implemented the information and continued working with Equifax as needed to overcome roadblocks. Now, the Equifax API is ready for implementation.
Then, they built a booking system for users to find credit coaches and book free sessions. We wanted to be able to list profiles of credit coaches on our website. Redberry built out a portion of our website for coaches to create profiles and share their availability. We can also use this feature to invite coaches to join our platform. Users can book sessions based on a coach’s availability via a Google Calendar API.
In order to build the coach booking system, Redberry learned about the Google Calendar API and how it functions. They also incorporated Google Meet so users can attend sessions with their coaches via Google Meet. The team also figured out how to automate email confirmation messages after a user books a session.
Redberry has also helped us build a credit card recommendation algorithm for our website. Users can input information about themselves, which airlines and hotels they prefer, and how much money they typically spend on food and restaurants. The algorithm uses the information to recommend the best credit card for the user’s needs. The recommendation pulls from 137 credit cards in our database, which has required a lot of attribution work.
The Redberry team has also used Laravel and Vue.js to build a web app, and we’re working together on other projects.
What is the team composition?
We work with three team members: a frontend developer, full stack developer, and a project manager.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
One of our technical team members had worked with Redberry on a previous project. He doesn’t give a lot of compliments and is picky about who he works with, so we took his recommendation to heart when searching for a development partner.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend around $8,000 a month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Redberry is good at what they do; the quality of their code and documentation is excellent. Whenever they deliver a new component, it looks fantastic and works perfectly, which has been wonderful. Inevitably, we’ve encountered bugs and crashes, but the team has addressed them efficiently and effectively.
We’re so pleased with their work that we plan to engage them to provide marketing services in the near future, which is their specialty. We can’t wait!
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
Redberry is very timely, communicative, and responsive. The leadership team checks in consistently to ensure everything is going as planned. They’re always available to answer questions, and they’re nice people overall.
Similarly, the individual team members are good at problem-solving and implementing our feedback. They hit deadlines, and when we meet to discuss progress every Friday, they come with new developments. We use Slack to communicate with Redberry, and they use Jira internally. We use Figma to communicate design changes. We’ve also used Notion in the past.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We really enjoy working with Redberry because they love what they do. Each team member is passionate about their role, which makes them easy to work with. Additionally, our project manager is knowledgeable about both development and project management.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have no complaints. They do everything we ask, and they do it well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend having a technical internal team member translate your ideas to Redberry. You can’t expect them to understand your vision without communicating it clearly. Our internal team member listens to me and translates my vision into a technical document for Redberry to review.
Also, try your best to outline your desired outcome as clearly as possible, so they can understand what you need them to build. If you communicate your goals clearly, they’ll crush the execution.

The team resolves bugs and issues promptly, adheres to deadlines, communicates clearly, and responds quickly. Overall, customers can expect a professional and reliable partner who’s easy to work with.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the founder of TimeWell, a platform that helps families connect on a deeper level by linking voice memories to photos.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
We hired them to develop new features for our software platform, which is a web-based app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry provides us with custom software development services using Laravel. They’re mainly in charge of developing new features as well as enhancing our current platform. For instance, they’re helping us implement a book builder feature that would enable users to upload a photo, put specific details to it, such as location, date, and time, and connect to an API where the photo can be sent off to a printer.
What is the team composition?
We initially worked with two people from their side, but now we’re only working with one.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
We found Redberry through Clutch. We decided to work with their team based on their responsiveness, good design sense, and positive reviews. We also connected with them during our initial interview; they spoke English well and had a good grasp of the stuff we were working on.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent close to $40,000.

Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything that Redberry could improve on at the moment; I’ve been very happy with their work so far.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Redberry has developed an MVP platform for a FinTech company. They’ve custom-built the billing and ordering systems from scratch and integrated external APIs and Stripe Connect for payments.
Redberry has effectively built the required features and achieved each milestone the client has set. Although the client has managed the project via YouTrack, they’ve met with Redberry regularly. The team has communicated openly via Slack.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive for a FinTech company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
We needed help developing an MVP platform and API for our services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry has primarily helped us build two parts of our platform from scratch: billing and ordering functions. Before kicking off the project, we provided the team with documentation, mock-ups, and wireframes. They’ve integrated an external API and Stripe Connect for billing purposes and created a complex order system for in-school lunch menus. They’ve also assisted us with user onboarding, user management, and other systems.
What is the team composition?
We work with two developers and junior developers.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
We’d been using Laravel framework for about a year and had to do a project rescue. I found Rebderry through a referral from Laravel.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $20,000–$25,000 in the partnership.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Redberry in October 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Redberry has almost finished building the MVP platform, and we anticipate it will be complete in the next few months. They’ve met each milestone for the billing and ordering features, and we’re happy with their performance.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve managed the project on our end, but we work closely with the team and meet regularly for brainstorming sessions. We connect daily and have been pleased with the open communication from their developers and management team. We use YouTrack for Scrum methods and Slack to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been impressed by Redberry’s outlook and approach to supporting startups; it’s why we chose them in the first place.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing Redberry could improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend their services; working with Redberry will help you take a big step forward.

client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of product and design for Dogdrop; we offer high-quality dog daycare in the US.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Redberry?
Our existing software wasn’t prepared to accommodate multiple locations, so we reached out to Redberry to help us rebuild it and scale it up.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Redberry has provided us with custom software development services. First, we met with the team to determine the project scope and build a roadmap. They referenced our existing software tool and used Laravel to build a new software stack from scratch. They also worked on API syncing with Stripe, our payment processor, and ActiveCampaign, our CRM.
The software is a two-sided web application for our employees and customers to interact. The app is also connected to our website. Employees can log into the app as administrators, check dogs in and out, run payments, and message customers. They can also create monthly calendars to keep track of the dog daycare schedule. Customers can log in and view their visits and payments, switch their subscription plans, and access our monthly calendar to view our events.
Aside from building the web application, Redberry has also helped us with QA testing and project management. They’ve tested new features and flagged any issues with the software. We launched the new software recently, but we’re still working on adding more features and fixing low-priority bugs. Next, we hope to add data trends so managers and franchisees can evaluate their performance in terms of revenue and visits. We also want to integrate a chat API to deliver more value to admin users and customers.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with the CEO, a project manager, an account representative, a team lead, two frontend engineers, and two backend engineers. The project manager also helped with QA.
How did you come to work with Redberry?
I initially found Redberry and a few other service providers on Clutch. We contacted 10 potential partners to learn more about their skillsets and costs. We met with Redberry, and they provided us with a roadmap and a list of required resources. After a few discussions, we decided to move forward with the partnership.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Redberry in August 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we just launched the web app, we don’t have a lot of metrics. However, we’ve received positive employee feedback regarding its simple, straightforward UI/UX. Employees have shared that the platform has made their jobs easier because they can access the information they need in one place. We see this as a win because it will ultimately reduce the amount of time spent completing tasks. We also anticipate that the tool will create more opportunities for revenue generation because we can leverage customer information more strategically.
Although we anticipated launching the application with bugs for timing purposes, Redberry has quickly addressed high-priority issues, which we’ve appreciated. Overall, they’ve done a great job with the web application, and we’re happy with the results.
How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?
Redberry has performed well from a project management perspective. They can only perform so well given the scope and our timeline, but they’ve done a great job providing accurate estimates and working as quickly as possible.
We work in week-long sprints, using Jira and GitHub to keep track of tasks. We have daily standups and weekly demo meetings via Google Meet and primarily communicate via Slack. They’re one of the best service providers I’ve worked with when it comes to communication.
Despite the time difference, our project manager has been responsive and facilitated open and clear communication. They always let us know if the developers are blocked, so we can address the disconnect. Additionally, the team lead gives solid advice to the developers regarding complex technical or architectural issues. They also respond well to feedback and implement it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m most impressed by Redberry’s professional, organized approach. In the beginning, they mapped a solid plan and decided which tools they needed to execute it. Throughout the project, they’ve consistently provided status updates for deployments and delays. Their architecture-driven thought process is superior to other contractors we’ve worked with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything the Redberry team could improve on; I’m satisfied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t try to design and build at the same time.

Redberry is the development partner of a B2B SaaS platform, working as an extension to the client's in-house team. They are responsible for the front- and backend development of various deliverables.
Redberry has helped the client successfully launch the product with custom features. In less than a month since its launch, the product has had 40 users and 26 organizations. The client has also received extremely positive feedback from customers and partners for the product's unique features.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Founder & CEO of ATHENNO - the world's #1 continuous discovery, JTBD B2B SaaS platform, and community for modern product-led teams, as well as entrepreneurs. ATHENNO makes entrepreneurship and commercial innovation accessible and successful to all. I am also a global innovation, product, UX/JTBD, and startup management consultant and successfully help founders across continents to get from 0 to 1, and get users, customers, and funding.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Redberry, and what were your goals?
I was thinking of something like ATHENNO for years and decided to make it a reality this year. While I had a design prototype, I needed a real MVP launched to help me with fundraising. Because I am a solid ex-software architect and engineer myself who used Laravel stack, I was looking for a full 0-1 development partner with such skills and on a budget.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I have reached out to multiple agencies over the months, and I came across Redberry through their official partnership with Laravel and many other ecosystems. I quickly connected with the Redberry Founder & CEO - Gaga. As a person with technical background himself, we could quickly connect and find a common understanding.
He is very flexible, and with Redberry I felt like I quickly found an extension to my own in-house team, and made new friends in a few weeks. Redberry is not a typical agency, and they are also the best and the largest in the region, moreover, with the best rates!
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We started with multiple calls with the executive team, including CTO to figure out what could be an option for us to engage, and specific technologies to pick for the project. We ended up setting everything up over DigitalOcean, Laravel backend repo, and React+Nextjs frontend repo with Tailwind CSS and Tailwind UI, and finally Nova admin panel, to make the development process faster and smoother without sacrificing aesthetics.
In the end, we integrated Mixpanel analytics. I was designing a full prototype in Figma and while I didn't need pixel perfection, I needed ATHENNO to look clean and modern.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Another main reason I like Redberry is that for consultants like myself, I can manage my own projects directly, and I just need specific talent to fill the gaps. That means that with ATHENNO I only had engineers I needed, from CTO to sr full-stack engineer to jr frontend and backend engineer.
I was managing the entire project on their behalf myself. Sr engineer helped supervise more jr team members and do code reviews. Directly talking to people who actually do the work itself without any middleman is very important for me. This is something I have never seen, and why I love Redberry. However, this might not be an option for many clients.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
ATHENNO is now launched with 8 modules, including a lot of custom and scientific features, and this is only the beginning. In less than a month since its launch - ATHENNO has 40 users, and 26 organizations signed up. Potential customers and partners gave extremely positive feedback so far. ATHENNO is now a part of the Techstars Rising Stars community in the US. We continue our relationship with Redberry.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
As previously stated, in this case, I was managing everything directly myself, which is important for me. We use Notion, Miro, Slack, and GitHub Ne projects for code reviews. Everything I do is 100% modern, empowered, and product-led where experiments are encouraged. Even if I was giving clear directions and providing clear designs, I was happy to see Redberry team members' own initiatives.
For example, I liked the icons they picked instead of the ones in the design more. It was also fine to experiment with different libraries and potential solutions. Or when they suggested that something doesn't make sense and how they would solve that problem. We started from 2 weekly Zoom calls and later moved to just one.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Most unique agency experience I ever had. It felt like in a few weeks I hired an in-house team and made new friends. If you are a consultant with a technical background and modern product leadership experience, then what I liked the most is that I could get only the talent I needed, everything was flexible, and I could talk directly to people actually doing the job myself without a middleman.
Largest and top agency in the region. Honest, customer-obsessed, modern. Not to mention the best rates (compared to NA or Central EU prices), yet sometimes with even better quality. Aw, and they even have their own BootCamp!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They could also teach their jr engineers and within their BootCamp BASICS of modern product management, statistics, data science software architecture patterns... How to create their own frameworks in order to understand how modern magic frameworks like Laravel or libraries like Axios or React do their job... But most importantly to teach teammates to write reusable mathematical logic, not necessarily features in order to save time on refactoring later.
Understanding the principles of functional programming, mathematical notation and composition can help here. This, however, is a hard skill to master even for senior talent. Since more and more products are becoming smarter, more complex, data-driven, scientific, and analytical to some extent at least, it is crucial to becoming an expert in this kind of science as well.
