To meet the ambitious goals of our design department during a period of accelerated delivery cycles, without compromising on design quality - we needed to significantly expand our capacity.

We partnered with Redberry to build and integrate an additional design team comprising approximately 15 professionals, including designers, an art director, QA specialists, and a project manager.

They also created a large public screen installation and an integrated landing page, where Georgian emigrants could virtually light up the Georgian flag in real time. The action was simultaneously displayed on the screen in the street and on the website, creating a powerful and emotional connection between digital and physical spaces.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We measured success through several key metrics: the number of users who visited the landing page, the number of flags lit by emigrants in real time, and engagement during the campaign period. Additionally, we tracked how many emigrants activated at least one product during or after the campaign, as well as how many new emigrant customers we onboarded as a result of the campaign.

I'm the co-founder and managing partner of Procuremed, a healthcare company. We provide software for purchasing and spending analytics on medical products. It's a web-based application where clinics can upload their data coming from their ERP software. After uploading and mapping their databases, they can look at in-depth analytics of their purchases and spending. They can also do benchmarking, which is new for Georgia and this region.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Redberry built our web application from scratch on Laravel. The team handled everything, including the design, and provided maintenance services.

What is the team composition?

During the presale, we worked with Nini and another account manager. We worked with Salome, our product owner, when the product started production.

How did you come to work with Redberry?

We found Redberry through a referral. We had many interviews with different companies, and Redberry provided the most detailed and fun suggestions for what we should do. We had more than 10 meetings with them to discuss how the application would be, which was 2–3 times more than other companies.

Additionally, we liked the communication with Redberry; they understood what we needed very well. Finally, their offer was excellent. Redberry's reputation was also outstanding. Overall, the team had excellent quality work.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $60,000–$70,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started having conversations in June and decided to begin working together in October 2024, and the team finished in April 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our work is very niche and specific. For this year, we'll have 3–5 customers. One or two people will be visiting from them. We serve hospitals and medical clinics and make agreements and contracts with them. Then, they either upload the data themselves or give us the data so we can analyze it for them. As a result, traditional metrics for conversions don't apply much to us.

 While Redberry didn't offer hosting services themselves, they gave us good options and helped us build an efficient hosting service. The possibilities the team provided were 4–5 times more budget-friendly than the option we were using.

How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?

Redberry was very good at project management. We never missed a deadline. The team used Theia IDE, and we communicated through Slack and Jira. Redberry had their internal communication and offered that we participate in their technical channel, but we decided Slack and Jira were enough for us.

According to our discussions and plans, Redberry also leveraged Motion to build and demonstrate the structure of the platform and its updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Redberry understood the tasks and limitations of what we needed very well. For example, if we proposed an idea, the team understood what and why we needed. In a short time, they provided the limitations that it could have. Before developing something, we knew the challenges and problems, so we didn't build something and then change it. That was Redberry's most impressive trait for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We're delighted with what came out of the application, so I can't think of anything Redberry can improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very engaged with Redberry because their development process is very efficient and goes fast. If you want to be up to date with what the team is doing, you can test the product all the time. If you want something different or want to improve something, you can let them know in advance before Redberry completes the project.

I'm a product owner and solutions architect for an e-commerce platform designed and developed primarily for the cycling industry and, currently, all sports industries. We focus on building e-commerce websites that leverage supplier data and AI to build unique e-commerce experiences.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Redberry has developed a new platform for us. They’ve built it in Laravel with a Next.js frontend. The team has specifically helped us architect a multi-tenancy application that allows us to create multiple websites in one location and customize those experiences for each retailer.

We’ve had detailed requirements-gathering sessions, and I’ve been overseeing the creation of user stories and requirements to align with the team's adopted delivery methods. The team has also provided DevOps services with AWS, where the platform currently resides. They’ve helped us advise on the appropriate environments we would need to create and set up to manage it effectively through AWS.

What is the team composition?

I'm in contact with the entire team. I meet with them twice a week, including the product manager, QA and testing team, a frontend developer, two full stack developers, a lead developer, and a delivery manager. It’s a team of seven in total.

I knew they had a good track record of delivering the right level of development knowledge and the delivery methods required to bring the product to market successfully. The company I work for had tried on some occasions before to bring an up-to-date product to market, but it had failed.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're now at a point where we're just about to take our product to market with the t. The platform is still pre-market, so we don't have metrics. However, we will most definitely be able to see vast improvements in efficiency savings from the platform when it goes live.

We've had strict fortnightly sprints in which the QA team tests the solution before it comes to me. There have been a few bugs and problems, but they've been quickly addressed with hotfixes or considered for the next sprint if the bug is deemed minor.

How did Redberry perform from a project management standpoint?

They're meeting every single deadline that we've set. The project management is extremely thorough, and the stand-ups and sprint sessions are extremely useful. We communicate via Google Meet and Slack. We also use Jira and Notion for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Having worked with several different agencies in the past, they are prepared to take on board what's required to get the job done. They don't shy away from the work. At the same time, their blended project management and delivery with developers means they're a really good agency for building bespoke and unique software applications.

I can't think of anything.

Ensure that you've prepared detailed requirements of what you want to achieve with your project. Ensure you understand the delivery methods that they're looking to use. As a result, you'll get the most out of each of your sessions with them.

We were developing a new web application and needed some assistance with writing it because we didn't have the capacity to do it in-house. Therefore, we decided to outsource the development of the UI to Redberry.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Redberry provided us with software development services. They specifically provided us with a lead engineer to work with us. The engineer was responsible for taking the lead on the UI development team and worked with the rest of our internal team collaboratively, as we focused on the backend, the API, and the infrastructure.

Initially, we provided Redberry with details about the project that we wanted to do, the timeline we had, and the team they would be working with. Our input helped Redberry identify the level of engineering and expertise we required. We wanted this web app to be written in the Vue.js framework, so Redberry identified an engineer with the proper skills.

In addition to Vue.js, the technology stack included Tailwind CSS and TypeScript. The backend of the app, which wasn't built by Redberry, used ASP.NET.

The lead developer Redberry provided was the only person who worked on the project with us. Still, we were in touch with one of Redberry's managers every other week to check how the project was going and see if there were changes needed to the timeline.

I knew that we wanted to build this app in Vue.js, so I went to Vue.js' website to see their partners and found Redberry as one of them. We simply searched online to find a company with the right technology skills.

We worked from January–April 2024; it was a time-critical project. Currently, we're in discussion with Redberry about follow-up work.

Redberry delivered exactly what we asked for in exactly the time we asked. They also provided us with a maintainable and clean code base for a UI. Overall, we were delighted with the results of this collaboration.

Redberry was very good and very flexible around our needs. The team delivered on time and within budget.

I would like to give a shout-out to the lead developer, who did the bulk of the development work. We really appreciated his help.

Engage with the managers at Redberry as early as possible so that they can scope out your project. Listen to their suggestions because they've done this kind of work a lot. In fact, this was the first time we outsourced software development work, and they talked us through the process. Therefore, I recommend listening to their advice.

We wanted to create a new website for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we provided Redberry with a brief of what we wanted to have on our new website, and they came back with a proposal. After that, we continued working on the details. Their team sent us a series of technical documents on which all the details were included. Once we went through all the details, we gave our approval to move forward with the project.

Redberry next started working on the UI/UX design. Throughout this process, their team provided us with all the details to get us involved. Once they finished the designs, they started developing the web page, which required front- and backend development.

Redberry divided the development process into several releases. After every release, their team gave me one week to revise all the details and get our approval to continue moving forward with the project. As for the technology stack, Redberry has used Laravel Nova and Citrix System for the CRM.

Now, Redberry provides us with continuous support. They have a really big company with different branches, so they also help us manage our social media pages. However, that's a different team and a different project.

The main feature of our website is that customers can choose our development project, see the different blocks, choose the one they're interested in, see all the floors of departments in that block, and choose the exact department they're interested in. They can also see which apartments have already been sold. Once selected, customers can see how many square meters the department has, where the balconies are, and even where they can expect the sunrise and sunset.

Users can even access a 360° rendered view of the apartment to help them visualize how their apartment will look. They can also book an appointment using a form connected to our CRM system. After booking an appointment, a sales manager will contact the customer. In addition to apartments, customers can also see our commercial spaces for sale.

We've worked with 10–15 teammates from Redberry, including two designers, an account manager, a couple of testers, and some developers.

How did you come to work with Redberry?

Redberry is a well-known company in Georgia. Our country is not really big, so we only have 4–5 really good companies in every field. Redberry is one of the best companies in web development, so we contacted them.

We started working together around October 2023, and the website took about four months to complete. Still, our engagement is ongoing.

Although performance metrics depend on our digital marketing manager, I can say that the web page that Redberry has built is working well. Everything is exactly as we initially required.

Redberry has delivered work on time and within budget, which has been very important. In fact, their project management has been the best part of working with them. The team is very communicative and pleasant to communicate with since they understand everything we tell them. We use Slack and Google Meet to communicate. We have meetings all the time, and I can even communicate with our account manager via WhatsApp, as they're very flexible.

On top of that, Redberry's responsiveness to issues is very fast. They're natural problem-solvers who don't just do whatever we tell them. Instead, they always try to find the best solution for our needs. They feel like team members who suggest how to do things based on our needs, which shows that they think about solutions along with us.

Gvanca (Senior Account Manager) and Mariam (UI/UX Design Team Lead) are great. Still, we have a dedicated team working on our project, and they're all great as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Before we started working with them, we got to do a mini-tender process with the top three companies in Georgia. What stood out about Redberry was that they understood what we needed and what our budget was in the best way possible. Additionally, their timing was better, as they provided a shorter timeline for this project than the other two companies.

I don't have any comments regarding improvements. We're very thankful for their work, and we haven't experienced any problems with our project.

We only dealt with Redberry during the pre-sales. However, we knew that the whole team was well-regarded by the end client. They enjoyed Redberry’s quality work and had many positive comments; it was a successful engagement.

Moreover, Redberry went above and beyond delivering the scope. The team actually delivered additional work. The client was incredibly happy because they got more work than they paid for.

Redberry helps us and works with our team as far as we need or want them to. They’re flexible, so we can increase or reduce the team whenever we need. Our team has an internal CTO and a third developer, so Redberry is our team extension.

We use a lot of Laravel and PHP. Initially, we created the documentation and set up the working procedures before we got our first developer.

We started with a senior developer and then added some junior developers. We now only work with two junior developers.

I met them at a summit in Lisbon. Their proposal was very interesting because they weren’t taking over the project.

Our measure of success is the number of features done, but I can’t give the number without asking my CTO first. We coordinate and are responsible for the project, so Redberry doesn’t have to reach a certain level or have a certain number of things to do.

Project management is on our side. We don’t have a project manager on Redberry’s side; it’s just a team extension. Their developer is on our team full-time, and they participate in our sprint planning and daily reviews.

We communicate with Redberry for administrative issues. We mainly use Google Meet, but they use GitHub or Slack among developers.

My contact is the guy I met in Lisbon, and I’m very happy I met him. He’s good at explaining things. He’s had some calls with my CTO and me, and every time we have an issue to discuss, he’s flexible and quick to answer.

Their quality of developers is outstanding. We realized their junior developers weren’t that junior; Redberry did a good job selecting them.
