Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder and owner at Coverpage. A news aggregation website that deals with news of all kinds especially technology, business, sports and entertainment.

For what projects/services did your company hire rad., and what were your goals?

We approached rad for the development of our news site https://coverpage.org/, and we also hired them for our design requirements which included office stationery and the business logos and overall content marketing

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We initially undertook extensive Google research, where we found them from. We also asked around our circle and got their name from two business associates, hence we settled down for them.

https://coverpage.org/ is a website that entails news aggregation from across the internet as it happens. We ensure timely delivery of news to our subscribers through the use of chrone jobs run in the background to aggregate the news items. News is categorized into different sections; the home page is where all news categories are displayed. While inner category pages allow for specialized news items to be curated under each page title. A system is built to display a specific type of new item only in the said categories. No other news items appear in other categories unless defined. We ensured that on trial and error basis, and perfected it.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

When we started of, we started with selected group of team members to setup the brand, Mr. Aamir was the key project director, his team included 2 UX designers and 1 developer, later on we added the content marketing team with 3 more people.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Once the website was done and uploaded we shared the links with some expats, bureaucrats, and important personalities for reviewing. They gave us very good responses, so we announced the launch of our website through social mediums and digital marketing which was also conducted by rad for us. Within the first few days we started getting a lot of praise, and subscriptions on the website which is evidence that the website is a success.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They have been very committed to our project from the start. Though we deviated from the very initial scope we laid out for them. They were quick to adjust every time we came up with a change in the plan. The good thing was their project owners helped us streamline our changes with the existing developments, so that neither party would have to suffer any major loss of resource and/or time. For project deliveries they used Trello.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to understand the client’s mentality and give valuable solutions was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A few times even minor revisions took twenty-four hours to get completed. I am sure there is a logical explanation for it, but that delay, even though it is communicated always, seems stretched out on some levels. Apart from that I have had no complains whatsoever from the team and people at rad.
