The scope of work included the full-cycle development of a digital platform for blood donors. Qubiz was responsible for the technical architecture, key parts of the platform’s development, and refining the UX/UI to ensure accessibility and ease of use for both donors and administrators. Key deliverables included features such as a responsive web and mobile application, an administrative dashboard for managing donors and campaigns, user authentication features, and integration with notification services. Their contribution was essential in bringing the project from concept to a fully functional digital solution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project led to the successful launch of a fully functional digital platform, which has already started improving donor engagement and simplifying the blood donation process. Early outcomes include an increase in the number of blood donations, smoother coordination with donation centers, and positive feedback from both blood banks from Romania and donors. The platform’s stability and usability have positioned it as a scalable tool for expanding nationwide blood donation efforts.

Qubiz showed solid project management throughout the collaboration. Communication was clear and consistent, and they were proactive in spotting and solving issues early. Most deliverables were delivered on time, and when there were delays, they kept us in the loop with honest updates. They listened to our feedback, adapted quickly when priorities changed, and stayed focused on building a solution that really supported our mission.

What stood out most about Qubiz was their genuine commitment to our mission and their ability to balance technical excellence with a human-centered approach. They weren’t just focused on delivering code, they took the time to understand the social impact behind the project and brought valuable insights that made the final product stronger. Their flexibility, professionalism, and collaborative spirit made them feel like an extension of our own team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Qubiz could have done differently?

Overall, the collaboration was very positive, but like any project, there were a few areas that could be improved. No major concerns, just the occasional delay on small items, which is understandable in any complex project. The team remained reliable, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the project, showing professionalism and a strong commitment to our shared goals.

Better interactions and patient and healthcare provider were very content.

Weight loss as a idirect effect on patients using the app. 

More controll of chronis illness by patients and more engagement in treatment.

A totally new invoicing system (EMS) using the datasource from the old system (ERP). With new functionallities such as a change in VAT-tariffs, a government mandatory price-ceiling for a period (Covid) and the capability to manage various pricecomponents. 
Also the settlement of the advanced-payments in the old system needed to be handled by the new system.

Key deliverables:
An system that creates and sends the invoices, monthly, anual and final-billing.
A user-frendly Gui to monitor the invoices and give various options to users such as credit created invoices.
Settlement of unsettled advanced payments from the old system.
A wide set of reports containing not only the EMS data but all data available.

New releases after each sprint.

It was a difficult project. Qubiz probably would have delivered all the goals asked for if we had not kept changing our PBIs, priorities, and requirements. Qubiz certainly achieved all the goals that they committed to.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The flexibility and the endurance to get to the end-result was very impressive. We had some big setbacks and some big changes in course during the project. But the team stayed productive, positive and and proffessional!

The quality of work was also very high, the end-product was of a very high quality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Qubiz could have done differently?

I really can't think of anything big but if i have to say something I would say we have started to soon with the building proces, we had to to a little bit to much rebuilding over time. But we are more to blame ourself here then Qubiz I think.

Relase of Master data also incl. refactoring and implementation of additional functions. Release of Vehicle Insurance application in Nov. 2023 and optimization until June 2024

Yes, items were delivered in time. Unfortunately, the quality was very different. Some things were implemented very well, others with sloppy mistakes or mistakes due to misunderstandings.

We appreciated their In-depth knowledge of architecture and UI/UX development.

Due to the language barrier, the requirements should be better understood. Or if not, be clarified in advance by asking questions. Also documentation of DTOs and APIs should be done side-by-side with the development. I had to follow up several times in this regard.
