Qualwebs has been a key partner in building our mobile app. Since we have our own in-house design team, they haven’t been involved in the UI design, but they’ve taken charge of the API development and technical architecture. Their expertise has been invaluable on the backend, which is written in Go. The team is well-versed in Go, AWS, microservices, and even the Stellar blockchain.

We’ve also had a team member from Qualwebs working on React Native development, building out our iOS and Android apps.

Our collaboration with Qualwebs spans multiple projects. One of them involved creating virtual US bank accounts within our app. They started by developing the backend and then moved on to the frontend to bring the feature to life.

Another project was the Vibrant Campaign Manager. We wanted a system that could easily configure and adjust in-app marketing based on user activity, rewarding them for specific actions like spending money on certain items or adding funds to the app. Two of their backend developers worked on building this out for us.

Lastly, we’ve had a part-time team member from Qualwebs handling DevOps for us, which was a huge help since we were short on DevOps resources at the time.

Qualwebs has been incredible at building the app quickly, and the results have been fantastic. They’ve shown a remarkable ability to tackle challenges head-on, and we’ve been really impressed with their work.

They’ve also made a huge difference in improving the app’s performance. Before, I wasn’t thrilled with the app’s loading times and overall responsiveness, but once Qualwebs came on board, they dove deep into optimizing those areas. While I don’t have specific metrics to share, the improvements have been noticeable and significant.

On top of that, they’ve played a key role in boosting our transaction volume. One of the projects they launched actually accounted for 30% of our total app volume for the quarter.

The team at Qualwebs is incredibly proactive. They’re always clear and upfront about what they can handle during our sprints, which we plan every three weeks as part of our agile process.

What really stands out is their communication. They’re transparent about their capacity and straightforward if something needs to be delayed or adjusted. I’ve been really impressed with how efficiently they move projects forward—they’re self-starters, so I don’t need to micromanage or get overly involved.

For communication and collaboration, we use Slack for messaging, Google Meet for regular meetings, and Google Calendar and Workspace for scheduling and productivity. Notion is our go-to for documentation, and the team has been great at adding technical documentation there. We also use GitHub to monitor errors and PagerDuty for on-call support. Their additional on-call service has been a lifesaver, especially since we don’t have a large backend engineering team. We’ve used Asana in the past, but we’ve recently switched to Linear for task management
