What specific goals or objectives did you hire Qtec Solution Limited to accomplish for SupplyLine?

We hired Qtec Solution Limited to build a fully functional backend ERP application for our retail financing and invoicing platform, along with multiple front-end applications and reporting solutions.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qtec Solution Limited built the Python backend ERP that supported our B2B procurement, retail financing, and invoicing operations. It brought retailer records, orders, invoices, and financing information into one system. They also developed a credit rating system to help us assess retailers for financing using multiple business and transaction data points. Moreover, the team built a Flutter Android app that gave retailers a way to place procurement orders and interact with our platform. Alongside that, Qtec Solution Limited built internal admin panels and reporting modules so our team could manage day-to-day operations, review retailer activity, and track sales and financing performance. The work evolved over a couple of years as we learned from actual usage and expanded the business.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest outcome was that we moved from building the platform to running our daily procurement and retail financing operations on it. At one stage, Supplyline was processing more than $500,000 in monthly GMV. In a single month, we handled over 5,300 orders and shipped more than 27,000 packages. The systems Qtec Solution Limited developed supported that volume and gave our team better visibility into retailer activity and business performance. We also put the credit rating system into operational use, supporting our assessment of retailers for financing. These were Supplyline’s business results, with Qtec Solution Limited’s work providing much of the technology needed to support them.

How did Qtec Solution Limited perform from a project management standpoint?

Qtec Solution Limited managed the project well overall. We worked with them over a couple of years, and the scope evolved as our business needs changed. They were responsive to feedback and kept us informed about progress. Most deliverables were completed within the agreed timelines, and when something needed more time, they communicated it and worked with us to adjust priorities.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out to me was the value we got within a startup budget. Our project covered a backend ERP, a Flutter app, internal reporting tools, and a credit rating system, so it was a substantial scope of work. Qtec Solution Limited was a good cultural fit, and working with them over a couple of years gave us the continuity to develop the platform as Supplyline grew.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing significant comes to mind. Overall, the engagement worked well for our needs and budget, and I don’t have a specific area of improvement to highlight.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qtec Solution Limited?

We hired Qtec Solution Limited to support the development and QA of our website, with the primary goal of building a reliable, user-friendly, and scalable digital platform. The key objectives were to ensure that the platform’s core features and user workflows functioned as expected, identify and resolve functional issues before release, improve overall product quality and stability, and provide a smooth experience across different devices and user scenarios. We also wanted to establish a consistent testing and QA process that could support the platform as it continued to grow.

Qtec Solution Limited handled the software development and QA aspects of the project. Their scope included testing and validating the core functionalities of our website and its data and research platform.

The main deliverables included functional and regression testing, validation of data-driven features and user workflows, identification and reporting of bugs, cross-browser and responsive testing, and verification of dashboards, datasets, case studies, search, subscription, and other platform functionalities.

For the data and research components, the focus was on ensuring that datasets, business insights, research content, and related user-facing features were presented and functioned correctly, helping maintain the reliability and usability of the platform.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project resulted in improved platform stability, reliability, and overall UX. Qtec Solution Limited's testing and development support helped identify and resolve functional issues across key areas of the platform, including datasets, case studies, search, subscriptions, user accounts, and other core workflows.

Regular functional, regression, API, responsive, and cross-browser testing helped reduce recurring defects and improve the reliability of new releases. The project also established a more structured QA process, providing better test coverage and helping ensure that new features were delivered with fewer critical issues.

Although we didn’t track specific metrics such as customer satisfaction scores or exact defect-rate percentages during the project, we observed clear improvements in product stability and release quality through the QA process. Qtec Solution Limited regularly identified functional and regression issues before release, helped reduce recurring defects, and improved test coverage across key workflows. Their structured testing process also helped the team release new features with greater confidence and fewer critical issues. While we don’t have a specific percentage to report, the reduction in recurring issues and smoother feature releases were the main indicators of progress.

Qtec Solution Limited managed the project in a structured and collaborative way. They maintained regular in-person communication, coordinated well with our team, and were responsive to changing requirements and feedback.

When issues or unexpected changes came up, they worked with us to address them and adjust priorities when necessary. Overall, their project management helped keep the development and QA activities organized and moving forward.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impressed us most about Qtec Solution Limited was their attention to detail and strong focus on product quality. They did more than simply execute assigned testing tasks; they actively explored different user scenarios, identified potential issues, and communicated them clearly to the team.

Their willingness to understand the business requirements behind each feature was also valuable. This helped them identify issues that might not have been obvious from the technical requirements alone. Their collaborative approach, responsiveness, and focus on continuous improvement made working with them particularly effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, we were satisfied with Qtec Solution Limited’s performance. One area they could improve is having even more detailed planning and documentation at the beginning of complex tasks. Clearer requirements and earlier alignment on priorities could help reduce clarification cycles and make the overall delivery process more efficient.

That said, Qtec Solution Limited was responsive to feedback and adapted well when changes were required during the project.
