I’m the director of a physical health food shop that’s been transformed into an online shop. I sell CBD products and supplements.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pulse Infotech?

Conventional advertising for CBD products is prohibited at the moment, so we needed someone to help us with SEO promotion and do some work on the design of our website as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve had previous issues with the way the website looked and operated, so Pulse Infotech is helping me with their expertise and fix our website, in regards to the operation and the visualization. I previously had people who worked on the website, but they didn’t really do a good job on it. Pulse Infotech helps sort everything out and put it the way I want it.

What is the team composition?

My only contact person is Vijay (Founder & Director). If there is a job to be done, such as SEO optimization, website, or payment gateway issues, I tell him my needs, and he transfers it to the right people.

How did you come to work with Pulse Infotech?

They were recommended by a friend of mine, for who Pulse Infotech did some work as well. After my friend put me in touch with them, we started working and so far, I’ve been happy with what I saw and that’s enough for me.

How much have you invested with them?

I pay them £120 (approximately $160 USD) every month for the SEO, and another £300 (approximately $415 USD) to fix and design the website.

What is the status of this engagement?

The ongoing partnership started in June 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before I started working with Pulse Infotech, I wasn’t getting any orders on the website. Now, although the orders aren’t really flowing, it’s still more than what I used to get before. Moreover, the visuals of the website didn’t really work well, but they were able to adjust the site to work on PC, tablets, and mobile devices.

How did Pulse Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

We typically communicate via WhatsApp. If there are any issues that are more than a text message, I’ll email them with a list of issues that needs to be done. They’ll usually confirm or update us on the progress of the tasks or issues with the same platform.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Compared to the people who first built our website, they’re a lot more professional price-wise. They’re comfortable and accommodating, so if there is anything you need, all you have to do is ask and they’ll get it done for you.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t, because I’m happy with the way they work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just be plain and simple with what you want. Write a list of your needs and they’ll get back to you with the rough estimates — which are always negotiable. However, it has to be within reason. If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. It’s not always about the price because they will accommodate you to match your budget. Bear in mind though, that they have their limits and they need to pay people to do the job.

We are a full service out of home and digital advertising agency. I am digital director and have been here since April 2017.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pulse Infotech, and what were your goals?

We hired Vijay and Pulse Infotech for combined web development services, and have worked on several projects now. We had several clients with different objectives, from complex web app development to existing WordPress and Shopify e-commerce websites that required remedial works to improve PPC and SEO performance.

Pulse Infotech were sourced from People Per Hour originally, and were selected firstly by their top rated 5* review status, and secondly due to Vijay's fast response to my brief and queries.

As above, several technologies have been used including PHP, WordPress and Shopify. Works have been a combination of frontend and backend features

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I believe we regularly work with around 3 or 4 of the Pulse Infotech team, not including Vijay, primarily in web development capacities

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Nothing specifically measurable other than that all our clients have been very satisfied with the work completed, always to a high level of quality and also with exceptionally fast turnaround times. We know that if we ask Vijay to do the work, it will be quoted very competitively and will be done quickly with minimal fuss

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

We primarily communicate with Pulse Infotech by Skype or email, he former being the preferred choice and generally works extremely well for us. Vijay in particular is very response on Skype even out of hours due to the time difference between the UK and the far east

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Both speed of communication and speed and the quality of the work produced, it is always of a high level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing, we are very happy with Vijay and his team and how they work and can see us doing more business with them in the near future
