I'm the founder of a startup call Insightflow. We are building next generation knowledge productivity tools.

We originally hired Prism I.T. to help with Wordpress development. They helped us to build two custom Wordpress plugins and also built some from end templates. More recently we have been using them to build our MVP using React.
SOLUTION

We found them through Upwork. They had the right skills and when we tested them out, produced good quality code. They are also excellent value for money, flexible and responsive.

The main scope of work involved building out a Wordpress plugin that allows us to integrate Wordpress into our Knowledge Productivity solution. They have also helped us to build prototypes integrating AI through API calls into our solution using the low code platform Retool (Javascript).

Over the course of the project we have had 3 people from the team working with us. A Lead Developer and two juniors.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The software they delivered allows us to synchronise data quickly from Wordpress and also auto-categorise our content using AI.

We run daily standups where we discuss the tickets we need to work on. They were happy to align with our way of working and were flexible in how they worked with us.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have been very responsible and have been able to quickly pick up new tools and skillsets as we requested.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We don't have an in house testing team and so sometimes the QA by the developers is not sufficiently strong to avoid bugs creeping in. We therefore recommend having a QA to work most effectively with the team.
