BACKGROUND

I am the Content Marketer at a software company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Press to Play, and what were your goals?

We wanted an animated video that was able to explain an integration for our software in an easy-to-understand way. We wanted to keep it concise, yet provide enough information that would encourage our audience to do a demo.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had looked at many different video production companies and we felt Press to Play had the strongest design capabilities and they were able to work within our budget for this project.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We started with a discovery meeting and from there they created a narration script. We reviewed and finalized the script and then they created the A/V script. Upon approval of that, they created a rough animatic with character design. We also were given voiceover actors to choose from. Finally, all of the elements were put together and delivered in a complete animated video.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manager as well as the CEO of the company. The CEO was very involved in the project as he was writing the script. He took extra time on a call with us to ensure that we were all on the same page and that the video would meet our objectives.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have had a much higher-than-average view length on our videos on YouTube.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The entire team was friendly and easy to work with. They stayed on schedule and were quick to respond to our feedback. They took extra time to ensure they understood our messaging. We had a short time frame and they worked hard to meet our deadline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciated their ability to provide a high quality product at a lower price point. Their communication was quick yet thorough so they could fully understand the project. They stayed within our short timeframe and met the deadline we established.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were extremely happy with the results and the process. We have not suggestions for improvements.
