I'm the Chief Operation Officer of an IT company, which provides property management systems for hotels and resorts.

Our customer's website was created a long time ago and had become out-fashion. We have some in-house developers but we have so many projects that have to do with a limited time so we decided to look for some outsourcing vendors to help our customers rebuild their website to become modern appearance.

We contacted PowerGate software through email and set the meeting to discuss in detail our requirements and our objectives. The team delivered wireframes for our customer’s website. They updated the content and landing page with modern color and outstanding looking.

We worked with 1 front-end developer and 1 back-end developer. The project manager and a designer were working with us as well

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After rebuilding our customer’s website, these customers said that they saw a more 60% increase in traffic and the prospects increases than 30% over a month thanks to the landing page. Our Clients love the updated design.

We have daily communication with PowerGate's team via Slack and Skype. We had meetings through Zoom or Google Meet. GitHub and Jira we used to coordinate and they worked well.

No complaint. They make our clients and me absolutely satisfied

I am the co-founder of an e-learning platform where students can join to enroll in various courses and take mock tests.

Our website drives a lot of traffic at certain periods, for example, before the university entrance exam. That's why we need a strong website that always runs smoothly, and we decided to count on Powergate Software for that goal. More specifically, Powergate helped us to upgrade features, reduce the loading speed, and go regular maintenance for our site.

We browsed through a few pages listing top web app developers and narrowed down to four choices. We reached out to all four companies and Powergate impressed us with the quick and dedicated responses. Considering their considerable experience, tech stacks and cost estimate, we chose to collaborate with Powergate at the end.

We had two meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. During that time, Powergate also provided an overall assessment on our current app and suggested some methods to improve it. Once everything was elicited, they presented a detailed actionable plan and we signed a contract. From then on, we had regular meetings and weekly reports so that I got updated on the progress. The collaboration went smoothly and the project was finished on time as scheduled.

A dedicated team including 5 developers and 2 testers from Powergate was assigned to work on our project. I only worked directly with the project manager to save time.

There were significantly less reports regarding the loading speed, and our students love the new features. Our requirements were not only met but exceeded, and we are happy with that..

I had weekly conversation with their project manager, who communicated with the rest of the team. There were reports to keep our team updated too. We mainly used Slack to coordinate and the process went well.

They were really professional throughout the process. It saved a lot of time and effort for both sides.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None so far. There were actually some trivial bugs but all were quickly resolved ahead of the final launching. Until now the site is working well beyond my expectations.

New clients may face some difficulties adapting to the work style as you need to manage expectations correctly and experiment to position the development resources correctly as you scale up
