Tackling with architecture and code flow understanding and existing code revising, Plavno developers effortlessly customized the platform to our requirements. They also filled every gap and enhanced the platform’s functionality.

The project is still in development. We wanted Plavno team to develop a custom NFT website and implement web3 support. Plavno’s primary focus was building an amazing website and CMS. The landing page in particular was vital. In a fraction of a second, it needed to set a timeless positive impression and encourage the visitor to keep scrolling. The frontend was divided into two main parts—the user part and the admin panel. The admin panel has an advanced set of features, allowing for easy management of the stored data. Additionally, our admins can add new content and integrate new titles into the system.

We were looking for a company that has experience in WEB3, cryptocurrency and blockchain. It was important for us that the team fully understand how to develop these types of products.

The idea was to develop an efficient and secure solution that would allow users to make cryptocurrency transactions legally and transparently. Plavno team had to create a solution independent of third-party developers, develop frontend solutions for clients and service administrators, build a full-featured back-end that would include integration with banking and payment systems, and a multifunction module for managing currency exchange transactions, exchange rates, hedging transactions, etc.

Thanks to a gripping business idea and meticulous, high-quality work on its embodiment, Plavno team has managed to develop a completely legal and regulated cryptocurrency exchange service, which embraces the following key features: A full-fledged Back-end solution with two Front-end client modules for users and administrators.

Front-end technologies: HTML5 CSS/CSS3; React-router; Prop-types; JavaScript/TypeScript; React (hooks + context)/React (redux, redux-saga).

Back-end technologies: Java 14; Maven; Github; Liquibase; ZeroMQ ; RabbitMQ; Postgres; OpenFeign; Logback; Dozer; etc.

Additionally, Plavno developed automatic processing of user data at the verification stage—from the moment the documents are uploaded to KYC procedure and AML check, redundancy storage of user and transaction data.

The product, created in partnership with Plavno, combines all the most complex cryptocurrency algorithms and processes in a simple and user-friendly interface. When creating the solution, the Plavno team managed to adapt all the service processes to meet the strictest requirements of the regulator. It can be adapted to a specific business model and be integrated into any system allowing it to work with cryptocurrency.

We had no problem communicating, all of our correspondence was in slack and all of our calls were in Zoom.

Their knowledge of the WEB3 space and their ability to keep up with trends have been impressive.

I can advise other customers to apply for development related to blockchain, cryptocurrency and the web3 sphere only to the Plavno company.

Plavno developed several products that solved different issues: anti-fraud, scoring, verification. There are a mobile date, instalments, accounts, a set of factors that provide information about the user. Plavno was creating profiles with pulling up a lot of information (clusters). Xunit-based scoring was used when setting up a .NET 2.0 project.

Scoring for this format works similarly to Junit. The team extended the products by adding features, fixing bugs. This development can change cluster parameters, cluster management system (current state of the object), customize vectors that lead to this cluster and make predictions.

I can't say exactly how many specialists were involved, but at the moment there are three full-stuck specialists in the team.

Plavno’s team delivered great quality code that helped us accelerate our concept validation and product development. We are continuing to work with them as we grown the product and add more features.

There are two things impressed us the most about Plavno. First, the speed and level of understanding from their team on the needs of the project and the general concepts presented to them. The second one is impression with the extent that the company has gone to take care of their employees and consistency in communicating with their clients in a difficult situation full of uncertainty and stress.

In these kinds of complicated projects, it is expected there would be some flaws and need for improvements. During the testing and development, it is normal that things don’t work as expected. We always communicated any problems and received great response and cooperation to solve them.

Plavno provided us with developers with various technical specialties, since we lacked our specialists, and there were a lot of projects.  We worked with different technology stacks of Plavno: React, React Native, PHP, IOS, Python, Java, Node.js, Angular, Vue. js and etc. We have specific requirements for the resources provided by Plavno, which vary depending on the project for which we use their services.  However, we always require that developers can communicate in English and have several years of experience. They always provide developers that meet the client’s specific language and experience-level requirements. Plavno has completed many projects and consistently performs well on their tasks. The team stays on track by holding daily check-ins with the client. Their results-driven approach allows them to quickly scale their efforts depending on the required deliverables.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Really, effective. We communicated daily in a SCRUM-like workflow, with a developer-to-developer contact and 2 weekly meetings to discuss deliverables and deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We like the prompt work of their developers and the good quality of the code. Plavno showed us that they care about building lasting relationships. Additionally, during the Covid period, we had a drop in sales. Plavno anticipated this very well and allowed us to downsize the team quickly, even outside the contractual requirements, which we appreciated.

I can't think of anything. Our projects were challenging, but they did a great job.
