• Engagement Overview

Pieoneers has been the development and consulting partner for VEX Holdings since the platform's concept phase. 
The engagement has spanned multiple business model iterations, two major architectural pivots, and a launch event (VEX Summit, April 2026). The relationship recently evolved from a traditional development team model to a senior product consultancy, with Pieoneers leading UX direction, code review, testing strategy, and architectural oversight alongside continued hands-on implementation. 
VEX operates as a private securities trading platform under FINRA and SEC oversight. The platform is structured as three federated entities: VEX Trade (transactions), VEX Capital (research and SPVs), and VEX Registry (regulated record keeping).

• Key Deliverables

Investor onboarding and identity End-to-end onboarding flow with KYC and AML compliance, OFAC screening, account approval workflows, passkey-based authentication, federated login across the three VEX entities, and qualified purchaser accreditation handling. 
Auction and trading platform Real-time auction and book-building mechanics, evolving across three models as the business strategy matured: Dutch auction, book building, and a catalog/deal-star system where investors express interest in companies and anchor investors can initiate book-building events. 
Live order book with bid placement, modification, and cancellation. Payment infrastructure Bank wire integration for fiat deposits and withdrawals, and multi-chain crypto deposit support for Solana and Ethereum, including direct wallet invocation and ownership verification. Real-time settlement confirmation. Cross-channel controls preventing VEX from being classified as a crypto exchange. 
Financial ledger and transfer agent Cryptographic ledger recording every movement of cash and shares. Git-based transfer agent system with auditable history of ownership records, compliant with SEC 17a-4 record-keeping requirements. Investor and admin interfaces Customer-facing investor application and a separate admin panel for operations and compliance. Custom theming for both audiences. 
Charts, statements, signature capture, and PDF generation for client-facing documents. Research and catalog layer (VEX Capital) Company catalog with rich profile cards, indication-of-interest mechanics, and the foundation for the research-mode entry point into the platform. Cloud infrastructure and deployment Production deployment on AWS with Infrastructure-as-Code, multiple environments, automated deployment pipelines, and zero-downtime release patterns.

We started working with Pieoneers as a tech partner to build the Revinew platform from the ground up. The scope covered both product strategy and technical implementation. They helped us refine the user flows, data flows, and overall product direction, making sure the platform aligned with our go-to-market methodology and brand. Pieoneers built the platform using modern frameworks and an intelligence layer that transforms business data into actionable insights. The goal was to assess businesses across three revenue levers: Market & Messaging Fit, Sales Motion & Pipeline, CRM & RevOps Health ultimately to provide a benchmarked score by area, their top friction points and an action plan - written for SMB execution and GTM alignment. In addition, Pieoneers delivered a clean, professional interface that makes insights easy to understand, while also guiding us in prioritizing features that balanced quick wins with longer-term strategic initiatives. They were proactive in anticipating both technical and product needs, ensuring the platform not only worked well but also supported our vision of making business consulting more scalable and impactful. Key deliverables included: A functional platform aligned with Revinew’s methodology and branding An intelligence layer that turns audits into insights for sales, marketing, and CRM improvement Professional reporting tools that highlight opportunities for growth and efficiency A user experience designed to make complex insights clear and actionable Ongoing project management, weekly updates, and support in strategic product decisions

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results have been very positive. Real customers have given us excellent feedback on how intuitive and easy to use the platform is. What used to be a manual process that could take up to 12 hours of effort is now streamlined and completed in about 24 minutes.

This extreme increase in efficiency allows us to serve more clients, deliver insights faster, and focus our consulting time on higher-value conversations. The platform has transformed the way we approach audits, and the feedback from customers confirms that it provides both a smooth user experience and immediate, tangible value.
