Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a partner at Alan & Grant, a people development company. We work with small and large businesses, helping them with the lifecycle of their employees, from entry to exit.

What challenge were you trying to address with PayInBits Convenience?

When we started the firm, we didn’t have a structured way of keeping our technology assets in one place. We were working with multiple vendors for technology management, hosting, and other services, and we had some terrible experiences. I wanted to find a partner that could guide us on our journey.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

PayInBits is helping us install and run applications in the Zoho suite. They listened to our requirements and guided us on our journey. Then, they set up a phased rollout of our technology. Their team provides ongoing support.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with around five people from PayInBits, including a project lead, developers, and a customer support person.

How did you come to work with PayInBits Convenience?

We met at a professional gathering, and I told them about my technology needs. They weren’t transactional and actually wanted to understand what I needed.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost so far 5 million–10 million Nigerian Naira (approximately $13,000–$25,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

They’ve been with us since we started the firm, in 2016. I first came into contact with PayInBits around 2015. We’ve worked on multiple projects together, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

PayInBits provides good services, and they’re prompt. I’ve referred them to several other businesses.

I can’t recall ever having a complaint about something they did for us. They’re very meticulous during the requirements gathering stage, and they’re very supportive. Their managing director has a background in IT security, and that’s helped a lot. They always execute as required, and I trust their judgment.

How did PayInBits Convenience perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re effective. I can’t recall a project where they needed to extend the timeline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re professionals, they’re very focused, and they have a sense of integrity. This is reflected in their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could market themselves a bit more.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

These guys know what they’re doing, so, the more open we are with them, the better.
