I’m the head of business strategy at a software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Osborne Digital Marketing?

We wanted to rank higher for local keywords and needed someone to help us with organic SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Osborne Digital Marketing helped us with SEO. The team first presented their strategy to us for approval. Afterward, the team started working on increasing our rankings on our desired keywords. 

Their efforts included generating backlinks and writing and publishing blog posts. To help us track our metrics, the Osborne Digital Marketing team also created a Google Analytics dashboard.

Once everything was set up, we hired an in-house teammate to take over for the team.

We found them by searching for SEO firms on Google.

We spent $1,750.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from November 2020–January 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our three main KPIs were increased customers, engagement, and leads, and Osborne Digital Marketing met those goals by optimizing our keywords. 

We got about 7–8 high-quality leads each month during the engagement, which was amazing because it usually took us around seven months to get those results. 

Overall, the team really helped us launch our SEO efforts and even taught us how to track metrics on our own. We’re grateful for their work, and we plan on having them work with our customers soon.

How did Osborne Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

All in all, it was a great experience — Osborne Digital Marketing was a very professional team. The whole process was very systematic and streamlined. The team used Basecamp to manage the project.

In terms of communication, they generally did an excellent job. However, the project manager missed a few meetings due to illness, which was fine.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with their attention to detail. We were pretty nitpicky about grammar and tone, so their accurate work really impressed us. 

The Osborne Digital Marketing team consisted of the best people with the right experience. They listened carefully and fulfilled all of our requirements. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

The content was great, but it could’ve been better in terms of how it appeared on Google’s search results. 

Additionally, it would’ve been nice if someone had covered for the project manager when he couldn’t attend meetings. Nevertheless, they did a great job overall.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I had a great experience, so I highly recommend them.

I spoke with Ronald over LinkedIn

I had a one on one with Ronald. He was told about our goals and then returned a quote. I was happy with the proposal, and I signed up. We had a constant engagement with ODM. I had no idea what SEO was and I am glad we were able to build organic traffic.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We didn’t even have Google crawl our site because when we had the site built in 2009, the web developer didn’t activate the site for Google. Thankfully, Osborne Digital Marketing noticed this right away. Ronald told me about it during our first meeting. That, plus the other work they have been doing, has helped us receive 15 organic leads from calls each month.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The team is good. They are there when I need them and were very hands on during the first month. Now we speak about twice a month and the results are improving

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked that they didn’t push anything on me. They listened to what I needed and worked around that. I had a guy do Facebook ads in the past and I lost so much money on that and it turns out I should’ve been doing SEO.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It is hard to say yes. They got results. I am happy with them
