The scope of work involved the end-to-end design and development of a comprehensive web application and learning platform for our language academy. Key deliverables included a user-friendly homepage featuring a welcome message, mission statement, and highlights of core platform features. A dynamic course catalog was developed, allowing users to browse all available courses with filtering options and in-depth course descriptions.

The enrollment system supports three distinct learning modes: curriculum-based (with fixed schedules and fees), one-to-one personalized sessions, and small group classes. A dedicated user portal enables account registration, course enrollment, and access to a personalized dashboard displaying course schedules, payment history, and recorded content.

The teacher portal equips instructors with tools to manage classes, view student information, and monitor payment details. Additionally, an admin panel was delivered with robust functionality for managing users and instructors, tracking payments (integrated with Stripe and PayPal), and auditing classes, including attendance, session recordings, and user feedback.

The project also included seamless Zoom integration for live classes, with automatic session recording and features aligned with privacy and data protection standards. Altogether, the scope ensured delivery of all core modules and technical integrations required to operate a fully functional and scalable online language academy.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The platform was launched on schedule with all core functionalities fully operational, including user registration, course enrollment, live class integration, and payment processing.

Teacher onboarding was streamlined, with instructors actively managing their classes via the teacher portal.

Payment integration was successfully implemented using Stripe/PayPal, with secure transactions and automated receipts working as intended.

The admin dashboard has enabled efficient tracking of attendance, payments, and session recordings, significantly reducing manual operational workload.

The team demonstrated strong project management throughout. They delivered major milestones on time and kept us informed with regular updates. Their responsiveness was excellent—they were quick to clarify requirements, address concerns, and adapt to feedback, even when our needs evolved during the process. Overall, they showed a proactive and collaborative approach, which made the experience smooth and efficient.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ontik Technology Ltd. could have done differently?

Overall, we were very satisfied with the collaboration. That said, one area for improvement could be in documentation—more detailed technical documentation or admin user guides would have made onboarding smoother for our internal team. Additionally, while communication was generally responsive, setting clearer expectations around timelines for feedback or iterations could have helped streamline decision-making during busier phases. These are relatively minor points and didn’t detract from the overall success of the project.
