Ongoing IT support and to move our physical server to the cloud and provide adequate backup.

What were your goals for this project?

Seamless transition to the cloud, cut back on reliance on our physical server.

How did you select ongoingIT?

We spoke with a number of IT firms regarding our needs and wants and chose the firm we thought would be most responsive.

Describe the project in detail.

The project involved computers and users in a number of different locations, and getting everyone onboard with configuring their computers to downloading software. It took a couple of days for a complete transfer of data. The Ongoing IT engineer was extremely helpful with working with the different people and getting us into the cloud.

What was the team composition?

We work primarily with Alex Jumbei, engineer and Mike Desales.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The owner of the business has been working with the cloud is and happy with his access to the cloud and a remote desktop that was moved to his local desktop. We haven't had downtime in two weeks.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I think it is effective. Main point of contact is me and I send the tickets, however, they are proactive and will contact members of our time to speed resolution of an IT problem.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are very thorough, analytical, and hands-on.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They have met our expectations.

ongoingIT has provided support for all of our IT services from managing our infrastructure to managing devices for both staff and students. Prior to ongoingIT services, we had other companies who did not provide the same level of support.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals were to have consistent support and monitoring for all of our programs.

How did you select ongoingIT?

We were with another company and when they were not meeting our needs we begin the search for another support. We came across ongoingIT from one of our own community members. The relationship and trust, was important and due to the community connection, it was already there.

It was important to us that we had immediate assistance for all of our needs as we have students and teachers relying on consistent internet.

We were in need of management of our infrastructure, security systems, and devices. ongoingIT was able to integrate systems we were already using and provide suggestions on others that we could use to enhance.

We have a team of 5 who provide support for our needs.

Since beginning our partnership with ongoingIT our systems have consistently worked to support the needs of our students and teachers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication is key and ongoingIT has provided consistent communication portals for us to keep lines of communication open, especially in the instances of emergencies. They are extremely quick in their response time and provide updates.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I have found it extremely impressive at the team approach to solving issues. ongoingIT is quick to come to the table with solutions and are always willing to partner. Mike in particular has been a huge asset as he is always willing to assist in a positive and professional manner.

While sometimes IT support can make one feel incompetent, Mike and the rest of the team go out of their way to be supportive and meet our needs in a way that helps us to also enhance our knowledge.

The team was instrumental in getting our new infrastructure and email servers up and running from a previous system that was antiquated and for also getting the team trained on these systems. They also provided on-call tech support at all hours.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They answered the endless questions from our staff that were not terribly "tech savvy" with a remarkable amount of patience. Additionally, we rarely had any "downtime" with our systems, which greatly impacted our productivity.

All of their deliverables came as promised and they never dropped the ball during the tenure of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They always treated every one of our employees with courtesy and respect, even when they weren't incredibly "tech savvy" and they never were condescending....something that is rare when speaking to the "IT sect".

There was nothing they needed to improve on.

We hire OngoingIT to manage our network infrastructure, security and deal with day-to-day employer workstation problems.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This vendor was selected prior to my involvement in the selection process, but I have maintained their services because they are knowledgeable and responsive with our network and various IT problems that require solutions.

They have successfully managed our network for over a decade and we have a high level of trust in their abilities. They have successfully upgraded our servers, firewalls, and broadband on several occasions over the years.

We typically deal with 2 to 5 workers depending on the projects.
