Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Overview: They ran a tight, transparent process: two-week sprints, weekly demos, and release notes after every deployment. Planning lived in Jira with clear owners, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
On-Time Delivery:
Milestones delivered on schedule [94–98% on time]; any slips were flagged early with impact notes and revised dates. Hotfix SLAs met: P1 within [30–60 min], P2 within [4–8 h]. Communication & Responsiveness:
Avg. first response: [≤2 h] during business hours; [≤30 min] on P1 incidents. Proactive status updates (weekly summary + roadmap changes) and same-day answers to clarifying questions. Planning & Tracking:
Sprint goals with measurable “Definition of Done” (tests, perf checks, docs). Burn-up/velocity shared each sprint; risks logged with owners and mitigation. Change Management:
Incoming requests triaged within [24 h], with effort/risk estimates and alternatives (MVP vs. full). Scope changes batched to avoid thrash; no-surprises rule (impact communicated within [1 business day]). Quality & Handover:
CI/CD with unit/integration/E2E tests; pre-prod sign-off checklists. Handover included runbooks, admin guides, and recorded walkthroughs. Bottom line: Yes—they delivered on time and responded quickly, while keeping us fully informed and giving workable options when priorities shifted.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Most Impressive/Unique Qualities Gamer-native product sense: They understood account-sharing realities and built the “Play Window” scheduler and verified-order reviews—practical features that cut support friction. Ruthless reliability: An idempotent order state machine with webhook retries/audit trails virtually eliminated orphaned states and checkout edge-case failures. Speed without breakage: They halved LCP while shipping features—no “perf vs. roadmap” trade-off, just disciplined caching, image/CDN pipeline, and SSR where it mattered. Data-first decisions: Experiments shipped only with clear guardrails (95% CI, CR/AOV/RPV targets); they killed shiny ideas that didn’t move the funnel. Trust & safety nuance: Thoughtful KYC/KYB hooks, disputes flow, and 3-D Secure reduced chargebacks while keeping legit buyers unblocked. SEO craftsmanship, not checkboxing: Clean URL strategy + schema.org + content templates moved non-brand clicks meaningfully, not just rankings reports. Proactive ownership: They routinely offered simpler, faster alternatives when scope ballooned, and documented trade-offs so decisions were easy to make. Calm, transparent comms: Weekly demos, crisp release notes, and fast answers on P1s—no drama, just momentum.
Are there any areas for improvement or something OnePix could have done differently?
Earlier requirements freeze to cut rework. Tighter scope control on mid-sprint changes. Faster out-of-hours incident response. More automated pre-promo smoke tests (payments/order flow). Earlier usability tests with first-time buyers.

They designed and implemented ConexBuilder — an intuitive configurator for custom container builds — rebuilt our pricing and delivery calculator to produce consistent, auditable quotes, and supported a smooth NetSuite integration that automated order, inventory, and billing flows
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Using ConexBuilder and the updated calculator, we dramatically accelerated quote preparation and improved pricing accuracy, reducing the need for manual revisions and increasing quote-to-order conversion. The NetSuite integration automated order handoff, recordkeeping, and invoicing, cutting errors and shortening operational processing time.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
They've run the engagement with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented project management approach — breaking the work into clear milestones, providing regular checkpoints (demos/updates) and keeping a prioritized backlog of tasks. Communication was proactive: they held frequent status calls, supplied concise progress notes, and shared testable builds so we could review early and often.

Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Deep domain + product sense — they didn’t just code; they understood container business logic (options, freight factors, refurb vs new) and translated that into sensible defaults and constraints in ConexBuilder. Practical engineering (fast prototyping) — rapid, testable builds let us validate assumptions early instead of debating specs for weeks. That saved time and cut rework. NetSuite expertise — they handled tricky data mappings, error handling and idempotent syncs so orders, inventory and invoices flowed reliably into ERP. Delivery-focused project management — milestones, demos, and a prioritized backlog kept progress visible and predictable; when slips occurred they proposed concrete recovery plans. Responsiveness and flexibility — quick turnarounds on change requests and the willingness to iterate between sprints meant the solution matched real user needs. Post-launch support & ownership — they stayed involved after handoff to tune integration edge-cases and helped iron out production issues quickly.

History & Start The project involves reprogramming an existing accounting software specifically for midwives. At the start of the project, adjustments had to be made to the old software based on #c.net. The challenge was to familiarize ourselves with existing, undocumented code. Main Project
The main task is to relaunch the software on a different technical basis. The software can now be operated via a browser, and several additional features round out the new software, such as user and role management, data imports, data exports, and the ability to adjust prices independently via the user interface.
The project is continuously being developed, as we still have many ideas.

Our Story
OnePix started in 2018 with a simple idea: good development should make a product easier to run, not harder to maintain. We grew into a compact team with deep experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Laravel, integrations, and payments. We ask hard questions early, explain trade-offs plainly, and keep clients close to the work through clear milestones and regular demos. Many relationships last for years because we stay accountable after launch and continue improving what we build.
What Sets Us Apart
Business-first engineering
We connect technical decisions to the result that matters: conversion, operating efficiency, reliability, and growth. If a simpler solution is better for the product, we say so.
Deep commerce & payments expertise
Our team has delivered custom WooCommerce and Shopify products, complex checkout flows, and more than 100 payment modules. We understand both the code and the commercial flow behind it.
A partner after launch
We do not disappear at handoff. Around 70% of clients stay with us long term for maintenance, performance work, and product development, with the same context and accountability.
