I'm the owner of a small law firm specializing in representing business and government whistle blowers.

After developing a new website, they prepared and posted content to Twitter, Facebook, and our website's blog.

What was the team composition?

Our account was managed by a single individual. Personnel changed frequently and that caused problems in consistency.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website took months longer to produce than promised, but the finished product was good. The marketing efforts demonstrated some success but they were wildly inconsistent. The timing of posts varied greatly and the company often failed to meet promised targets. By the end of the relationship, they had failed to perform as promised for months. They paid lip service to improving their service, but it really was all talk.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

In general, people were responsive, except when personnel changes occurred, and that was fairly frequently. It caused balls to be dropped.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Initially, it was their laser focus on legal firm marketing and portfolio of clients. By the end of the relationship, it was nothing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They need to improve their professionalism, keep promises, and be more reliable. Our relationship ended when the company stopped communicating with me by refusing to return calls or emails. This occurred after they stopped doing work on my account when someone left the company. Despite multiple calls with the CEO and the team—during which they promised to make things right—they never did. I hired another firm to do my social media marketing and ONE400 said it would coordinate with the new firm to continue SEO efforts. However, I never heard from them further; they stopped working on the account and stopped returning communications.
