The Ofspace team helped us to redesign our entire branding, including the website. As we grew, our initial version website was no longer compatible with our needs. But as a startup, we didn't have the in-house resource at that time to execute the redesign.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have known the guys from Ofspace for years and have worked together before. So I was always sure about their quality and professionalism.

Initially, I provided a rough mockup and brief for them to do some research and show us some suggestions. We have tried to set the brand and flow of the design initially. The team was cooperative and provided various versions of the design according to our feedback. After finalizing the initial design for the homepage, they re-designed other landing pages for us.

We have worked with two people from Ofspace.

The team provided an organized and well-structured Figma project for the design, which helped us to build the website easily.

We have shared most of the feedback through Figma. But they were also available for quick meetings and discussions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The ability to design breathtaking interfaces but a good user experience is rare. They are very good at this.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The initial versions of the design could be a bit faster. But it was not a big deal.

We wanted a reliable design partner to help us design and enhance the branding, user interface, and user experience of our product. They also helped us conduct product research and pitched improvement ideas.

We have previously hired a designer who can no longer finish the job. The web version of our application was almost completed, but we needed to design a few more pages. It was a big and high-priority and they were able to respond to our inquiry and requests immediately.

Their response time, professionalism, and creativity really helped seal the deal.

They helped us design and enhance the branding, user interface, and user experience of our product. They also helped us conduct product research and pitched improvement ideas to resolve product goals and improvement opportunities.

They gave us two designers that contributed to the changes and overall page layout and style of our web and mobile application.

We were quite pleased with the final output that we got from their team. The UI/UX they helped us with is now a solid foundation that our internal team is continuously developing.

Everything was delivered in a timely manner and they were also very responsive whenever we have questions or concerns.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to deliver everything as promised.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

More frequent updates so we have a better sightline on progress would have been great. But they were already very communicative so this is more of a nitpicking thing!

I am the founder and CEO of this startup. We are launching a licenses P2P lending platform in Thailand.

We hired Ofspace for a creation and design of corporate identity and UX/UI design of a mobile application and web application for users, which are our main products.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We searched online and compared different vendors and found Ofspace to be the most comprehensive out of all since they seem to have experience in designing a whole product and not just a couple of screens or snippets of products.

The team started off by having us complete a couple of questionnaires to kick-off their design journey. They have provided several options of corporate identities based on our response. After the corporate identities are finalized they immediately started working on design system and standard widgets to provide a groundwork the rest of the designs.

We then have regular back and forth sessions to communicate the user journey and start designing feature by feature until the overall package was completed. Figma was used as a collaboration tool so we could see the progress in real-time anytime we want. After the completion of the design, the team still provide constant support to make any necessary changes.

We have one dedicated person to work with them, but our developers can always drop into Figma and select any assets they need at any time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are pleased with both the quality of the outcome, the comprehensiveness of the outcomes, and the on-going support after the project. The team understood the common limitations of developing mobile and web application so they didn't make super flashy designs that makes it difficult to code in the front-end.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Not structured, but effective. Since we're a startup the workflow didn't need to be rigid. We work via Figma and communicated via Slack and it is just a constant back and forth iterations until the work is done.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way they laid out their design system to ensure consistency throughout every element of the app was amazing.  Also, their great understanding of the product and user journey that shows in the outcome.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of for a startup.

We were looking for a great design with a design system, colors, fonts, typography and the whole nine yards. Surja and the team were absolutely brilliant. They worked really hard and made a fantastic product. We are extremely pleased and very thankful.

They were excellent project managers. They provided daily updates, weekly walk throughs and accommodate all the feedback we gave. They were a pleasure to work with.

• Daily updates and design reviews in Figma

Project management was fantastic during both the design and development phases. I greatly appreciated the daily updates using Slack and Figma as well as quick recorded video updates explaining the work that was completed for the day. I could not have asked for more here, I was very impressed by their organization and thoroughness in these daily updates.

This also allowed me to quickly adjust or provide feedback before work got too far along on other related aspects. I was also able to quickly respond to questions and keep their team on track to meet their projected timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their web design style follows modern / trending guidelines that fit my needs perfectly. It was very hard to find a company who cares so much about design first, the result was exactly what I was looking for tailored to both my needs while still allowing them the creative freedom to provide substantial input / creative control of the final design.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ofspace LLC could have done differently?

Its hard to pick on any one thing as the outcome of the project was exactly what I wanted. I think, the only thing is that I could have had a couple more pre-project discussions to solidify timelines & project scope. Ultimately, everything came in - on time & on budget and management did a fantastic job at making sure I got everything I wanted no matter what it took so I think that is what is important!
