BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re a private chef and catering company that started during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I’m a co-owner of the business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nick Ponte Marketing?

We wanted a website where people could see the diversity of our work and how we can make different experiences for our customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They do everything for me, from helping us get our domain to all the graphic design — they’re building our website from start to finish. I told them what my vision was in terms of information, photos, and things like that, and they’re making it an easy process for us. We needed the site to be simple, user-friendly, and that could also clearly communicate our diversity to our clients.

What is the team composition?

We work with around three people. There’s Nick (Co-Founder) and two other people from his team.

How did you come to work with Nick Ponte Marketing?

I know the owner, and they’re also one of the best marketing companies in Maui. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1,500–$2,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our feedback from the website has always been positive; people have been asking about what tool we used for designing our website because it looks like we've had our business for years. Also, all of our clients are grateful for the site because it’s super user-friendly, and we’re able to centralize all of our communications into that one place. It’s easy for us to send people a link to the website so they can see our services, our past events, and our general work.

How did Nick Ponte Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great; they’re super responsive and communicative about the details of the timelines and what they need from us.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re extremely personable, and they listen to their client’s needs for their business. They can envision not only the design but also what our end goal is; that helped me because I didn’t know where to start, and they guided me to what made sense for my business. Overall, they’re genuinely there to help my company to be successful and not just to hand deliverables to me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Listen to what they have to say and let them guide you. They’re experts who do their work all day long, so they might have suggestions that’ll work for your business.
