What challenge were you trying to address with Nick France Design?

We hired Nick France Design for branding and web design and development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built out the website and designed my logo and color scheme. Nick France Design improved the imaging, advertising, language, and communications with Google. 

We also looked at the competitors and where they were finding success, and Nick France Design explained how they were achieving that and how my company could do the same. They looked at the website we already had and went through it to identify the weaknesses and how to fix them. The website was initially created on WordPress, and they built off of that.

I worked with Nick (Founder). 

How did you come to work with Nick France Design?

They were a recommendation from a couple of people I knew. I spoke to them on the phone and then met in person, and I thought they would be a good fit for what I was looking for. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2022, and the project took about a week to complete.

They completed everything we committed to and even went above and beyond. 

How did Nick France Design perform from a project management standpoint?

Regarding preparation and being ready to work on the website, Nick France Design was ready to go. We had some issues that were out of our control, but they were prepared to go whenever things could move forward. We used email and phone calls to communicate; we also met in person. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Nick France Design had a lot to offer for reasonable prices, and they knew what they were talking about every step of the process. They were professional in all areas and had strengths in communication, knowledge, insight, and provided a lot of creativity to bounce off of. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m very satisfied with the services.

Have a conversation with them because it will become evident that they’re the right company for the job.

I am the owner of Gulf Coast Sunglasses, a retail store in Venice, Florida.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nick France Design?

Nick France Design was hired to upgrade the look and feel of our website and get us selling products online. We are expecting to increase our current sales by 20% this year by expanding into online sales.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As you know, there are unlimited choices when looking for help with website design. After considering many possible companies and looking at their work, we decided to go with Nick France design. We loved the sites he had built and liked that he was a small business and would be our personal designer.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After and initial consultation with Nick. He had a simple, but through discovery form that we filled out to outline specific goals for our re-design. We needed to be able to show many different styles of sunglasses, make it easy to shop and buy, safe and sustainable. We also wanted to rank high in searches and have a modern fashionable look.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Nick worked with us personally. As the business owner, I loved that he was the owner also and wasn't delegating any of the work. This helped keep the communication clear and simple, as well as keeping things moving along quickly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Nick France Design recently redesigned and updated the Wordpress and e-commerce website for our Sunglass business. Additionally, he taught us how to perform many of the tasks on the site, so we can manage our business and make changes. He is very familiar with how Wordpress and Woo Commerce work and able to help keep our site near the top in searches and running smoothly. We were so happy with his work that we hired him on a monthly bases to keep our site up to date and running safe & smooth.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Nick was always timely and professional. We had many conference calls and deadlines and he always delivered a professional product in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked Nick's personal touch and ability to pick up on what we liked easily and put it into practice. He helped lead us, but didn't dictate our direction.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of anything Nick could do better. We have actually worked out a program where he is helping us on an ongoing basis. I believe this is a great spend that will keep our site safely running and keep it evolving as our business grows.

Chefs USA is a product demonstration company in Atlanta, GA. We perform chef cooking demonstrations and wine tastings in retail grocery stores throughout 10 states. I am the Founder and President.

Yes, we hired Nick France Design. Our goal was to build our new web site from scratch to focus on B2B, and target food manufactures to join our programs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Nick took the time to find out what our goals were and how he can help us achieve them. Nick also sent us a detailed questionnaire that helped him target in our what we were trying to achieve.

After the questionnaire was sent, we met with Nick personally to map out our plan. After that, Nick did his magic and sent us a detailed page by page layout and how they worked to positively effect our SEO. Once we agreed on the blueprint, Nick built the site from scratch and asked for any photos (and logos) needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are so impressed with our NEW web site. Nick spent time with us to understand what our goals were and designed a beautiful and engaging web site for us. His work was above and beyond expectations. If you want it done right the first time, and on time - use Nick France Design.

They are very easy to work with. Nick is very professional and engaging. We were in constant contact via email and phone.

Their professionalism, quality of design and work, and ability to give us exactly what we wanted - and more...

No! Nick did way more than what we expected. Any ideas we had, he gladly added.

The Greater Orlando Orchid Society is a non=profit organization which is a chartered affiliate with the American Orchid Society. Our purpose is to promote interest in orchids. We educate by exchanging information and experiences related to successful orchid culture

For what projects/services did your company hire Nick France Design, and what were your goals?

We needed a website to get information about our society out to the public. The website needed to explain who we are, what we do and why someone should join.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Nick created a wonderful website for us. We reasserted about half a dozen other web design companies but what set Nick apart was the process he uses to determine his customer's wants and needs.

I used Nick's "Getting Started" process to allow him to understand what we wanted. And, we spoke a few times on the phone. The whole thing went much more smoothly than I would have imagined. Nick also suggested a hosting company which we are now using.

Nick did it all himself. He is very easy to work with and just as importantly as his technical expertise is the fact that he is willing and able to teach a complete novice webmaster (me) how to maintain the site.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It is early days yet, but we have received very positive feedback from people visiting the site.

We used Zoom, email and phone calls during the course of this project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was easy to work with Nick. His ability and willingness to teach a novice how to maintain the site are amazing! What really impressed me about Nick is the process he uses to find out what his customers want.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We hesitated for some time before deciding to get a website because we were concerned about the effort that would be required to interface with the designer and the effort required to maintain it. Nick made the whole thing easy. We should have contacted him sooner!

Nick France is also very talented musician and was fully aware of our unique challenges.

We mostly just trusted Nick France to understand and carry out our vision so we could concentrate on getting the studio open and ready for business.

The website speaks for itself, and everyone really liked it. We have had several inquiries through it already.

Nick being a musician knew what we needed even when we didn't know ourselves.
