I’m a founding trustee of an NGO called Sparsh based out of Mumbai, India. We work towards human and animal welfare activities.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nextsavy Technologies?

Our organization was founded in 2009, and we recently thought about having an online presence for the first time. We wanted a website that could speak for the work we do and what we’re trying to achieve with the projects we’ve taken up.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nextsavy Technologies helped us develop our website. We had a couple of interviews to help them understand our requirements; we told them we wanted to put our work out there and create awareness.  

They asked for a lot of documentation to figure out what we needed to have an online presence. Then, they gathered a team and got us in touch with researchers and content writers who helped us put the website together. It was only after they reviewed everything I’d sent to them that they came up with a proposal. The team gave me options on how we could plan the site. 

From there, they designed and developed the website from scratch. Nextsavy Technologies focused the site’s design and color palette on looking appealing to users. The team helped us get all the required materials, including the photographs we needed for the site. Additionally, Nextsavy Technologies helped us put up all the data we had collected over the last 12 years on the website.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact was the team leader who coordinated the rest of the team, though I don’t know the total number of people involved. I also had direct contact with the web designer and content writer. 

How did you come to work with Nextsavy Technologies?

Nextsavy Technologies was referred to us via word of mouth by a friend. I was talking to two other providers that turned out to be too busy to give me the kind of time that I needed. I knew I had to be an integral part of the development, and these other options couldn’t accommodate my work timing. We had a couple of meetings with Nextsavy Technologies and decided to go with them because we felt comfortable with their team. 

How much money have you invested with them?

We spent about 50,000 rupees (approximately $700 USD) on the project. 

What is the status of the engagement?

We started working together in August 2021, and we launched the site in February 2022. The launch was delayed a little bit because I was sick with COVID-19.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Nextsavy Technologies’ design was appealing, nice, interactive, and dynamic. The feedback that I’ve received from different people has been really good. 

When we launched the site, we sent out an official message to many of our friends, family, and donors. We got great comments from people from all walks of life who said that Nextsavy’s work was well done. 

How did Nextsavy Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very prompt and quick; I got a very fast response time from them. If I posted a query, I would usually hear back from the team in a day, maximum. With other providers, I’ve had to be the one to follow up on progress. 

Moreover, if I didn’t reply to an email they sent, Nextsavy Technologies would usually reach out to me. It wasn’t me chasing them; they were chasing me to meet the deadlines, which is not something many companies would do.

In terms of budget, Nextsavy Technologies took up part of the project as pro bono work and charged us much less than the actual market price, considering us being an NGO.

We mainly communicated through email and phone calls. I had calls where the team leader, web designer, and content writer were all present.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Nextsavy Technologies’ teamwork was impressive. There was a good flow of communication happening through the team, which was nice. 

I also appreciated that they asked me many relevant questions when we started that made me think about what I wanted to put out there. That helped make the website look the way it looks right now. 

I’m more than happy with Nextsavy Technologies because they saved me a lot of money that I’ll use towards my welfare project. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There wasn’t really anything they needed to improve; they did a good job. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Discuss everything you have in mind with Nextsavy Technologies, and they’ll put something appealing together. Also, don’t hold back on your thoughts; put everything out there and let them figure out the site’s look for you.

I’m a partner at Protetto Glassware. We aim to switch consumers from plastic to glass products through our manufactured daily-use products like water bottles and storage containers.

We needed a vendor to create an e-commerce platform for our company and establish a solid digital presence.

The website needed to be smooth, quick, and responsive on both desktop and mobile devices.

A friend has worked with their team before, and recommended them for this project. We considered three vendors in total, but Nextsavy Technologies demonstrated a clear understanding of the project and offered a variety of background support, so we felt comfortable partnering with them.

Nextsavy Technologies built our e-commerce website with AWS technology from scratch. They were involved in both the design and development processes. The team also set up our hosting system.

We’ve recently launched the website, and we’re already experiencing higher traffic rates.
