Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Multiple projects during our work with newroco, including complex LoB web app for archaeological investigations for archaeology charity in construction sector, develop proof of concept applications around a legal tech startup, systems support for multiple organisations, websites for multiple organisations (design/deliver/maintain/host), ecommerce solutions and various smaller web applications for client needs. Examples of projects with key deliverables:

• Archaeology LoB: ongoing development of suite of web apps to support both field and post-excavation stages of archaeological investigations, multiple iterations completed to production status from areas as diverse as mass grave excavation management to timesheets. 
• Legal tech: collaborative contract editor (support for 3rd party engagement) with AI supported review process and drafting to alpha/demo state
  • contract manager integrated with above (with support for legacy and 3rd party contracts) to demo state
  • contract ingest system for above and for AI training to beta/MVP
  • AI-based game to support training of contract AI to MVP 
• AI/data mentoring: web app to help university support applied AI/data analytics for CPD students back in the workplace - to beta status

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcomes relate to individual projects and best "measurable" outcome is that the relationship is ongoing, both between ourselves and newroco and with our clients.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We use an iterative development approach for the development projects, where needs were outlined, fleshed out and iterated over multiple meetings/chats, with timelines per detail adjusted to suit based on client need and budget. On the systems support side the team are always very responsive to requests and also proactively keep key systems patched/configured to minimise security issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very flexible; they have adapted to meet our various needs and proactively bring new technologies and approaches to projects as they find them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something newroco could have done differently?

Hindsight isn't a great tool; are there things newroco could have done differently and better? Of course. But the choices made at the time were good ones, even if (with hindsight) other choices might have been better.
