We focus on companies with 11 to 50 locations, where the marketing challenge is not just generating traffic but doing it consistently and locally across every market.
Each location operates in its own competitive environment with its own audience. We build the infrastructure to win in each one, from local search to paid media to web development, and we do it with senior-level practitioners across every service area, not junior teams with a senior person available for escalations.
Our WordPress development work is fully custom. We do not use templates. We build from the ground up for clients whose websites are mission-critical.
MWI is an international agency with offices in the US and Hong Kong. We work in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
We use AI across SEO, content, and development. It makes us faster and stretches client budgets further. It also opens up work that was not previously feasible, including custom-built systems that once required enterprise software budgets. Our Story
In 1999, Josh Steimle quit his job and launched MWI from a studio apartment in Provo, Utah. The company grew into a global agency working with brands like LG, Sony, Marriott, and Virgin. Over time, a pattern emerged: the clients MWI served best had multiple locations and complex local marketing needs. That focus became the foundation. Today MWI works almost exclusively with multi-location businesses, with offices in the US and Hong Kong.
