The team created my website using my photos, my clinic’s photos, resume, and qualifications. I was lucky to have worked with them. In time, I’d have more clients through my website. Overall, I was very happy with their work.

Every time I gave them my feedback, they always agreed with me, which was the reason why I didn’t experience any convenience during our partnership. Our relationship was excellent because they were very professional. In addition, they were always efficient, and it was easy to leave a text message to get feedback and answers to my requests.

They offered a fair price compared to other providers I asked. On top of that, they promised to complete my project in a short period of time, and they were able to do that.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site. After a few iterations, their team designed and developed an informational Website. They update the content to reflect our company's services and created a backend admin to us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We hope after launching our site, we saw increase in traffic, and our sales will up month over month thanks to the giveaway engine. We will make sure costumer will love the updated design, and they now have a better understanding of our services.

We had daily stand-ups with their project manager, who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any updates, they let us know ahead of time so that we could prepare. We used Monday app to coordinate, and they worked well with our team.

They gave us a professional site that's easy to update. My team had never worked with this kinda of website before, so they took the time to teach us how to update the content ourselves.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We still wait for our business launch on February. When we first launched, if there were some minor bugs on the Website . We will let them know, and hopefully they were quick to fix the issues

moontek revamped our website. We started by talking about the direction we wanted to go and the new UX we wanted for our customers. After several discussions on the frontend about the platform’s style, branding, and UX, we developed the concept of the project. They created a lot of mockups, and I took what I liked from them to start tweaking things to get to the final product.

My assistant referred them to us. I decided to work with them because I liked their presentation, pitch, price point, responsiveness, and willingness to come up with storyboards and mockups before we signed the initial contract.

It’s too early to share metrics since the website has been online for around a week, but overall I can say they did fine based on my marketing experience.

They performed well at project management; they were responsive, communicative, followed up, and things didn’t take too long — I was delighted with that. In terms of tools, we used email, text messages, and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They were flexible, fairly priced, and responsive; that’s what made them stand out from their competitors.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — I was satisfied with their work.

I am the founder and CEO of a pre-owned sneaker online marketplace.

For what projects/services did your company hire moontek, and what were your goals?

We wanted to create a mobile app for our company and this mobile app would be where the entire use of the service would be. All users of our marketplace could only be users through downloading our app.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was referred to this vendor via a previous client of theirs and the deciding factors were their precision and determination when it came to my project. They were transparent and professional in their initial dealings with me.

The project consisted of creating a platform that was user-friendly on both a seller's and buyer's side. In order for this to be done, an admin portal also had to be created for us to manage any sales done between the two sides. We also needed a React native front-end and an AWS back-end for this project. An in-app camera lens that could be used to take photos was key and that was a task that we thought we would struggle with coming into this project.

Four resources from this vendor worked on the project. There was a project manager, a designer, a back-end developer, and a front-end developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were given a time frame of 4-5 months, but honestly, I was expecting it to be even longer. The app launched on the App Store in 4 months and the timing could not have been better.

The project manager was amazing in every apsect. We communicated through Monday.com mostly and he made it really easy for me to know what was going on. We had weekly remote meetings to discuss what work had been done and what needs to be done looking forward.

Their delivery was very impressive as they not only completed what was asked for but when above and beyond when they never needed to. Their timing was also unbelievable because of their organized management as a team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I do not see any areas that need to be improved as this company is young and always thinking of new ways to improve when there aren't any problems in front of them.

The initial step was getting the Moontek team familiar with our operations and what exactly we are looking for. We provided them with example websites we liked and gave all of our information and a rough format. The Moontek team then proceeded to build the website, providing deliverables which we gave feedback and revisions to, leading us to our final product.

While we have not gathered statistics about specific click-through rates and data of that sort, we have a better online presence and the website delivered exactly what we were looking for.

The timeline was very clear from the start and the team was very accommodating. Communication was great throughout the process and multiple revisions were made without hesitation. We were very satisfied.

We were impressed by the team's speed, communication, and quality of their work. Whatever we asked for was done and all our expectations were met. The process was very transparent and did not take an excessive amount of time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some typos in my deliverables that had I not gone through a detailed look, would not have been caught and would've potentially been published. I would urge the team to proofread a little more but not a big deal. Everything was fixed quickly!

To a certain extent, trust the process and understand that they have more knowledge in this space than anyone. You’ll be in good hands with moontek as they’re very attentive and always available when you need them.

Our website had been revamped a few years back by a third party company. We weren't looking to do an entire redesign of the site, just a particular page within the site. Our careers page was outdated and we were looking to implement a new api for our job listings as well. Moontek was able to help us without hesitation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We weren't looking to do an entire redesign of the site, just a particular page within the site. Due to this, we were having difficulty finding a dev to work on our existing environment, and many suggested a revamp of the site instead of what we were asking for. Moontek without hesitation, were eager and very familiar in the environment our site was built on. They were more than confident in being able to provide exactly what we need in our short deadline.

After reaching out to them through their website, we got an immediate response in setting up the initial meeting to discuss our needs in further detail. Within this meeting, we stressed we were on a short and timely deadline that could not be adjusted. We also indicated our very opinionated stakeholders would like to be involved in every step of the process.

This seemed to be no issue on Moontek's site. They were able to provide mockups, stay organized in working within our deadline, and most importantly, were understanding of our situation and willing to work with us.

We had Ali who was our main point of contact who also seemed very involved in the project. It was a breath of fresh air to be communicating directly with the person in charge of the project and not through a liason who did not understand the technical aspect.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Moontek seemed very eager to work on our project and went above and beyond to ensure everything went off flawlessly. They exceeded expectations with the design and execution, in addition to ensuring everything was organized and maintained constant communication with us. This will no doubt result in us maintaining a relationship with Moontek as we continue to expand the company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication is key with any project, and the fact that we were able to not only meet multiple times a week to provide updates, but also be able to have almost immediate responses was crucial to this public facing page. Moontek delivered in every way when it came to this. They had no doubt in being able to meet our timeline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was definitely impressed by their eagerness and capabilities in terms of what they can deliver. I was initially impressed with their website as it was a testament of what they are able to create.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would like to see a page on their site as a dedicated portfolio with a small summary on what every projects may have entailed so we can see something similar to what we are requesting.

MoonTek created our website from scratch. We initially had a meeting in person, which lasted a couple of hours. Then, they started working on the website. It took them about 2–3 weeks. They’re currently doing maintenance.

I work directly with the president and three other people. One of them is the director, and the others are a graphic designer and a content writer. The president is very young, but he’s social and polite.

We’re getting more hits now. Additionally, people are going over our website to get information. When we receive a call and ask where they’ve found us, they always refer to the site, so the impact is pretty high.

Also, they fulfilled the task, and the website was perfectly done. We’re 100% satisfied in that aspect. If we need to make changes, they’re responsive and prompt. We’ve had a good experience with MoonTek.
