PDSL is an Engineering and IT services company established in Coventry University Technology Park, Puma Way since 2010, PDSL provides leading-edge engineering solutions, including product development and life-cycle support, process, network and content engineering to major organizations in UK.

With close to decade of a continuous growth, PDSL has developed good number of Niche skilled full-time consultant workforce who are unique in their skill set always open for challenges. PDSL leverages collaborative engineering model to achieve measurable and substantial benefits for our clients.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

It is a complicated project at the very start. I have worked with many service providers, but they are not able to understand my core requirements like Design flow, stakeholders requirements, full process we want. After having a discussion with Ali the CEO of the company, I understand that we have found the right team to work with.

Basically, we want to work directly with the team so MERN IT Solutions provides us the direct coordination with the team. We directly hire the team after having interviews. By getting the staff augmentation services, our back office is directly communicating with the concerned persons. Like we have had detailed meetings with the design guy who after having meetings with the back office team, designed the layouts with the exact color schemes we are looking into.

Then we have some conditions and flow regarding the front end and the admin side of the project. The project manager really understands what we are looking for. Sometimes we are too much demanding but they understand the scope of work and act accordingly. The overall experience from design to deployment was seamless and the QA team did well to support the effort of the dev side.

They have defined all the sections in JIRA, which are easy to track and check whether we are on the right pattern and right on time regarding the releases.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

As mentioned previously, we get the resources hired after the interview but they provide us the expertise of the Project manager, so it was great to work with the PM. The project management was very energetic and right on time. Sometime due to internal issues, we were late in providing the details otherwise they are well ahead of the time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mern IT Solutions could have done differently?

I think they need to add marketing services as they focus on the Dev side. After the project completion, we need marketing services but they are not providing it yet.
