Our company sought a cloud-based solution for contract, travel, and expense management. After conveying our business needs, McBird Technologies crafted an application utilizing React, NodeJS, and Rest APIs. With a legacy system in place, our goal was to modernize it to align with our requirements. McBird Technologies was engaged to assess the existing system and collaborate with key stakeholders.

Serving as development partners, they enabled us to significantly reduce contract and expense/reimbursement cycles by 70-80%. This optimization not only streamlined our operations but also led to substantial cost savings.

The project was for adding enhancements to the existing System. McBird Technologies developed a consolidated dashboard and built reports to identify patterns and trends which will come from various data feed. We utilize a host of web technologies, including Laravel PHP. We also use Java, and we have a MySQL database.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

One of the metrics we care about the most is being able to achieve clients’ objectives. We have a prebuilt tool that McBird Technologies works on to create versions of it for different clients. It can differ a lot from one client to another in terms of how it’s applied. We’ve been successful every time; otherwise, we wouldn’t have continued working with McBird Technologies.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We do project management on our side. If we have a five-month project, we’ll divide it into 1–2–week sprints, which McBird Technologies will manage. They do pretty well on that, and they deliver everything we ask them to. We use our in-house project management tools. The present team at McBird Technologies has been with me for two years, so we know each other very well, and they’re pretty much adapted to our tools. I do know that they have their own in-house tools as well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Prior to onboarding McBird Technologies, we brought in developers as we needed them, on a project-by-project basis. What I realized after switching over to McBird Technologies is that it’s actually great to have a developer turn up for work every day. It means that we have continuity around improving our tools. 

Before, we only worried about jobs, and we brought in developers for specific purposes. We tended to not entertain the betterment of the application that much. Now, we’re able to do so, and it’s proven to be a good bet for our side in the long run.

Are there any areas for improvement or something McBird Technologies Pvt Ltd could have done differently?

If I need to change something or something new comes up, I’ll communicate instantly with McBird Technologies. I can’t think of any improvements right now.
