The goal of the project is to build a simple, easy to use SAAS based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) web app that will help laboratories comply with ISO 17025 requirements. The work scope had been split into two phases: 

1. Phase 1: To build the mvp of the project and ensure that the technology stack and the integrated tools such as dynamic form builder, report builder are working well together to achieve the business modules requirements. All working on AWS cloud services. Status: Completed, Tested and Approved 
2. Phase 2: To develop the SAAS management, additional features to be added to the system in addition to a quality management module. In this ongoing phase, we had 6 milestones in which 5 hade been completed successfully.

Measurable outcomes:

1. Achieve higher flexibility in building forms wihtout code changes by successfully integrating a dynamic form builder. 
2. Achieve higher flexibility in building report templates wihtout code changes by successfully integrating a report buildeing tool. 
3. Utilises the services of AWS and MongoDB's Atlas to have an easy to manage and low operating cost for the system. 
4. Successfully developing the main features that helps the labs in conducting tests and generating reports for clients as per ISO requirements.

Delivery on time: Most milestones have been delivered on time, except for minor delays in a couple milestones due to issues in fully utilising other third- party services that have been used in the development.

Although Matrix Media Solutions (P) Ltd. delivered the website, the impact I hoped for didn’t happen. We wanted more traffic on our website, among other things, which wasn’t achieved.

They went over budget. Although we had an internal delay, there was no delay from Matrix Media Solutions (P) Ltd.’s side.

We needed a logo and website designed and so they created our logo, favicon, and website using a WordPress template that we decided. They listened to our suggestions and revisions and helped us deliver a good website.

There were certain typos and scheduling delays. Some corrections we had to be mentioned twice. They do not work weekends and some workers had days of leave, so there are some things to button up in regards to making corrections quicker and scheduling things, but overall, a successful and great working relationship.

I reached to various development companies which had at least 50 employees and were conversant with working with startups to help them develop and maintain apps and the tech stack.

The scope of work was everything after presentation of the detailed idea, up to the creation of the first release to be used for determining product-market fit. This included functional requirement determination, wireframing, app design schema, API and backend design, cross-platform coding, testing and support. (The app was to run on Android and iOS platforms).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The Matrix Media team was very collaborative and responsive at every stage of the project. From the idea to the functional requirements, they helped refine many general needs into specific requirements, and then they were very creative and professional in the app design and wireframing. Finally, they managed the code construction phase on time, and provided many opportunities for us to provide feedback during the construction.

Matrix Media shared an overall budget and timeline, and worked with me to enhance these based on a deeper dive into requirements analysis. They kept me updated on the timeline and the progress, and made sure that every item was completed to my satisfaction before raising an invoice for each milestone.

They were very professional and collaborative during the entire process, and I have been impressed with the capabilities of both the leadership team, as well as all the team members.

Nothing comes to mind. Keeping in mind the ambiguity of my initial ideas, the Matrix Media team did an admirable job in providing structure to the process.

The website is pretty good. And the campaigns worked well. We have started receiving orders and gradually the sales had increased.

The style of giving demo was pretty impressive. We were completely satisfied each time when they gave us demo of any section. Communication was good. They come to our office on regular basis for meeting to clarify any issue. They come to our office on regular basis to conduct the live sessions on social media channels. They are punctual.
