As the platform and shared services development org for the company, we worked with Masscom in a staff augmentation capacity. Below are just a few highlighted projects:

• Build out machine learning infrastructure and development pipeline. 
  • Build out from the ground up.
  • Tight coordination with project team on goals, design and implementation.
  • Close partnership with data science stakeholders on implementation, operations migrations and onboarding
• Develop standard identification and eventing solution. 
  • Build identification system and common eventing system serving millions of users
  • Support rollout, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Migrate multiple shared services to new technology stack. 
  • Migrate various core systems to common tech stack which is essentially grounds-up re-write.
  • Support key enhancements.
  • Perform data migration and rollover for seamless transition.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As is standard for technology projects, regular assessment of progress against project plans and timelines were used to assess progress. Addition outcomes were based on quality metrics such as defect rate and user feedback.

Because Masscom worked for us in a staff augmentation capacity, the relationship was more of a close-working shared team model rather than a hands-off project delivery approach. With that said, Masscom has been a solid partner for us. The team has been flexible and responsive to changes and has shown a commitment to delivering in a timely fashion without sacrifing quality.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our relationship with Masscom has grown over time. We started with just a few headcount working on a single project and have grown many fold to more projects we can count. As part of this growth, we have also expanded the areas of expertised required and Masscom has been able to provide the right talent accordingly.
