I’m the president of a plumbing company. We handle industrial, commercial, and residential plumbing, including flood restoration.

What challenge were you trying to address with Marketing Geeks?

I needed to make a logo, website, and business cards.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

At first, I was just looking for a logo. Later, they asked if I had a website organized yet. Then, the team offered to create a new GoDaddy website, to match the colors and aesthetic I was looking for. Next, they mentioned business cards, and I was on board with that as well. The site is very straight to the point and features my name and email address.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from their team, one of which being Sterling (Marketing Strategist & Founder).

How did you come to work with Marketing Geeks?

I heard of them through a friend, who’s also a plumber. I saw the logo Marketing Geeks created for them and decided to give them a call.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $4,000 and $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and our work wrapped up in May 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website has been up and running for a few weeks now, and it continues to grow with my business. The best part was that they completed it within my timeline, and were very good with letting me know when things would be completed.

How did Marketing Geeks perform from a project management standpoint?

They did really well. I had no issues with them. The team gave me a rough estimate of time, which was nice. It was done within a couple of weeks, and since I wasn’t in any rush, it helped things out as well. They were really easy to talk to, and we used phone and email for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication was really nice. It’s great to talk to Sterling and get his perspective directly, rather than multiple people. We had no issues whatsoever.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If things got a bit busier with business, they might need more than two people working on a project. That being said, they worked well for my needs.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to give them a shot. I’m a one-man-show, and they were very accommodating with my needs. They’re very customer-focused.
