We have had to switch off Google Ads because our website cannot be used to make a booking because regression bugs have been introduced by the developer who does not seem to hold knowledge of shared components and deploys without any prior regression testing.

• Absence of basic release safeguards.We have previously and repeatedly raised the need for regression testing before deployments. There is currently no automated regression testing, no deployment guardrails, and no peer code review in place. This has directly caused regression bugs, including one currently live that has broken core browse functionality on our homepage, preventing customers from completing purchases through core functionality on our website. We alerted your team to this yesterday and have not yet received a response.
  
  No knowledge is held by their developer as to which are shared components on the website - introducing regression bugs and completely stopping our website from being able to generate revenue.

 Screenshots of customers saying they couldn;'t create a profile so they abandoned the website. This has wasted thousands of dollars of our money.

Zero project management.
Are there any areas for improvement?
 I have provided a Release Deployment Regression Test Plan that must be run prior to every deployment. It outlines shared components as well which is the main cause of regression bugs. This another reason why it is critical for Business Owners to remain informed of what handovers and knowledge transfer has been done by previous developers to new developers to ensure that any knowledge gaps are filled. I have asked to video interview the developer several times, last time I tried, he said he didnt have a webcam on his laptop.

Their developer has been more responsive and has been making use of Ai to troubleshoot to continue getting through complex technical hurdles, and showing more initiative in writing much improved communication emails to other parties that clearly outline what the problem is, and who is being waited on to do what.

In what ways can they improve?
It would be great to see a culture of constant Self-learning, drive and curiosity to do things faster cheaper better and more automated. A continuation of responsiveness, making use of Ai, doing whatever it takes to deliver time-critical projects, and platform ownership with regard to making financially sustainable, budget conscious technology decisions.

We needed help with the complete modernization and creation of database-driven desktop and mobile-friendly websites for both a physician locator and for physicians. This was at a time when mobile phones were just really taking off, so programming for them was very difficult.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mango IT Solutions developed a physician locator website with a map of surgeons around the world for patients to locate doctors in their area. They also developed a mechanism to deliver client websites, content driven by my main directory website, yet customizable in appearance and content. This mechanism allowed the admin to set up subscriptions, billing, sponsors, upload new images, and customize the appearance.Mango IT Solutions handled the design, backend development, and ongoing maintenance for these websites for more than a decade.

We had an MVP version of an application that had many issues and didn’t function properly. We needed a skilled partner who could take our MVP to production and help us QA test the product to ensure it would work for consumers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mango IT Solutions has reviewed and analyzed our MVP. They’ve provided a project plan and scope to address known issues, QA test, and complete aspects of the MVP that weren’t completed. Once the project is approved, Mango IT Solutions will help us release the app to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The team will also prepare the project server and provide ongoing maintenance. Mango IT Solutions will be our partner to work on future versions of the app.There were many bugs and poorly coded components that didn’t function as expected. At best, we had a shell or outline of an app. One specific example was that no consistent CSS or style was implemented throughout the app. Each page felt unique, with different images, fonts, and layout styles. Mango IT Solutions has provided a consistent CSS for the entire app.

Mango IT Solutions is awesome at addressing our needs and feedback without significantly impacting the overall project timeline.All our feedback has been addressed to our satisfaction. The app has gone from a useless concept to a functional tool, and we’re on the verge of release. Our core team of four and Mango IT Solutions’ team have provided user testing, and all bugs have been documented and fixed.

Mango IT Solutions’ project management is fantastic. They’re always on time. Any delays are on our part or due to third-party response time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Historically, it’s been frustrating to work with developers. When it comes to acceptance testing, providing feedback or discussing when something doesn’t meet expectations would always cost us more time or money. With Mango IT Solutions, it feels like we have a true partner. We set clear expectations and ensure we’re all aligned — it’s refreshing. What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed the website and worked on backend development. They developed upload features for logos and they built in drag and drop features for the layout portion of the site. The site was set up as a self-service tool for our ID card line. They used PHP and HTML to program the site, and they used a MySQL database.
