I’m the sales director of Startup Slang, a web solutions company. We do digital commerce projects, virtual experiences, and online stores.

What challenges were you trying to address with Manaknightdigital?

We needed a partner that could take some of our work overloads.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Manaknightdigital provided multiplatform web and mobile app development from scratch. They took our existing UX and created the platforms, which they linked between them. In terms of technologies, they used React, Figma, MySQL, and PHP.

What was the team composition? 

We worked with around five members of Manaknightdigital’s team, including Ryan (CEO), a project coordinator, and three front- and backend developers.

They replied to our job post on Upwork.

How much have you invested in them?

For this project, we spent around $20,000 CAD (approximately $15,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–November 2021 on this project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platforms that Manaknightdigital created received thousands of users the day they went live. The quality was great, the interface was smooth, they thought out the scoping process very well, and their team was reasonable — it was clear that Manaknightdigital put a lot of time into the project coordination.

How did Manaknightdigital perform from a project management standpoint?

Manaknightdigital always stayed on budget and was communicative to keep us updated on the project’s progress and set clear project expectations. Regarding tools and communication, we used monday.com, Slack, and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by their ability to link the platforms between them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could find a way to get clients to sign off on things faster, but other than that, I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Manaknightdigital is the best provider in terms of price and quality ratio. Moreover, have an open mind to their advice and rely on their expertise.

We were working with a client in the cryptocurrency space. We didn’t have the team to do mobile apps so we decided to work with Manaknightdigital Inc.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted our mobile app to help convince visitors to start using crypto currency but also for it to look good and appealing UX wise

Manaknightdigital Inc. was recommended to me by a friend. We had several meetings and we found them to be the right fit to work with. They were very methodical and precise in their advice so we felt safe with them

We had nothing ready beside the specs. Manaknightdigital Inc helped us setup and implement design, backend api development and the mobile app. They delivered on time for each milestone

What was the team composition?

Three developers, and a designer but my point of contact was the project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After delivering this project, our client got double digits in exposure and are very happy

Very good. Everything was delivered on time per milestone and there were no issues with communication.

They were very transparent about what would be done and gave us realistic timeframes. It’s very rare delivery is exactly as they promise

We're a marketing agency based in Japan focused on conversion rate optimization and UX. I'm the Co-founder.

For what projects/services did your company hire Manaknightdigital?

As a marketing agency focused on creating conversion for ecommerce companies, we needed a reliable web development agency to make the platform for us and customize it.

It’s always hard to find a reliable partner to work with us and we are glad we found them.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a custom solution and not an off the shelf solution as we have a lot of custom features. Shopify and woocommerce are too rigid to change. Essentially we needed a customized to our requirements.

How did you select this vendor?

We connected on LinkedIn & they provided a lot of free technology advice that it didn’t make sense to hire another vendor. We were relieved by how professional they are.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They wireframed the solution, created a design prototype of the application and then coded the application. They did extensive testing to make sure it worked on all browsers and phones. They pretty much took care of everything connected with app development.

What was the team composition?

They have a 10 person team working on our project. We mainly talked to their project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They took care of the technology part flawlessly so we could focus on the marketing effort of the project. The client was super happy and we are continuing our work to improve his business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Clear communication with weekly sprints and weekly calls. We had our issues addressed very quickly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very efficient with communication and delivery. They had all their basis covered and we always knew exactly where we are at in the development process.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think if they could work in our timezone it would be easier(Japan timezone) but that not a reasonable ask as they are in Canada. Other than that we will continue working with them.

I am the Founder and CEO of the firm, a web design and web development agency based in Melbourne, Australia and Amsterdam. We specialise in e-commerce design and development and also offer custom web apps and mobile apps as a service.

We had a vision from our client to sell a lottery app to people in Haiti which is a cash-based business. We spoke to Manaknightdigital Inc and they helped us figure out everything and piece it together.

I have spoken with the CEO Ryan and he had a team of QA, developer and a project manager.
