I hired Lyfe Marketing to handle our social media marketing which I believed to be the best way to receive our target demographic. I did not have the time or experience to manage this myself.

What were your goals for this project?

My goals were to get as many users as possible. I built a social environment where people could easily connect with friends and sell necessity needed for the college life.

I met some people from Lyfe at several local conferences I was attending. After several conversations, I could tell that they were very experienced in the space. When I secured our first round of capital, I looked at a couple companies, but could not shake my desire to work with them.

They were responsible for creating content that could be distributed online (mainly social media). They designed images and video that we thought were great. After crating content they did their job of publishing it and monitoring the response. Their team also help promote everything through Facebook/IG ads which definitely helped with our goal.

What was the team composition?

I worked with several people on their team, but the main point of contact was Sean. He did a great job of informing of strategizing for the project and coordinating everything that needed to be done.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched in a beta phase. During this time, our goal was to grow slowly by targeting a few campuses and get 1,000 user within the first 3 month. To our surprised they were able to generate 2241 new users in our first 3 month (exceeding our initial goal). I'm a big fan of this company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I was able to meet with them whenever I needed to by scheduling a call on their calendly link, so getting a hold of someone was never difficult. We stuck very close to our deadlines and everything was very organized.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As mentioned above, I was surprise with the initial response. We went from having absolutely no social media presence to getting over 2,000 users on our platform. They know how to advertise and get exposure fast.

Are there any areas for improvement?

My experience has been great. The only thing I could suggest is faster turnaround times. Sometimes it takes like 48 hours for edits to be made.

Initially, we wanted to drive more email subscribers in preparation for our marketplace launch. Following our launch, we needed to drive as much traffic and users as possible.

I did throughly research and had several calls with agencies. I was a big fan of their proposals and loved that they already had a proven approach for success.

We went through an initial call where we discussed the plan, strategy and exactly what we wanted to accomplish. From there, we gave them access to all of our website (i.e. website, marketing collateral, social logins, etc). We had another call to go through the initial round of creative then we launched. Every week, we have about a 30 minute call to check-in on where things are.

What was the team composition?

We paid a flat fee on the 1st of every month for their services.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We continue to drive users to our platform today thanks to their services. We like how we are progressing and have seen a huge increase from working with them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As mentioned above, we have calls just about every week to discuss direction so it's really easy to work with their team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I enjoy how professional and honest their team seems to be. Admittedly, we have asked some very tough questions and had some high expectations. They were not shy about letting us know the reality of what we were going to need to do and that honesty is what makes our partnership great.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really, the only thing I can mention is billing. We have to keep up with two charges, one for their management fee and one for the ad spend. I understand why it's separate, but if I had to mention anything then I would suggest that there be one fee for both.

We started working on the website with Keran. He asked us alot of questions and we had a couple meetings to talked about our goals. After a couple of weeks, he gaved us a home page draft (which we loved) and within a month the website was completed. Next, we worked with Sean on the social media marketing campaign which largely fed off of our event.

We worked with a website designer and account manager.

We were happy to see many people who we didn't recognize at our events. It definitely was a result of the social media marketing we were doing. I highly recommend Lyfe Marketing.

Everything was fairly simple. Dr. Carter and I had alot of information to share. They were very patient by listening to all of our needs and ideas.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The overall results. We were happy with how the designs and posts looked, but overall, we wanted to make sure the money we were spending was worth it. Again, we had a lot of people at our events thanks to this service.

I don't have any ideas for improvement. I highly recommend Lyfe Marketing.

Through a referral. I hired someone to do PR for my personal brand and they recommended I work with LYFE Marketing. I started with a small project around social media and over the years they have won my business in every way.

Simply put, they are our marketing team. They help us with automation, content creation, strategy and more. I truly enjoy the relationship that I have with my main POC. I cannot say enough positive things about this company as they have truly helped us grow.

You will work with a main POC. However, I do sometimes work with other specialists. I'd like to think at this point that I have worked with almost every Specialist at their company since I have several businesses and almost all their services.

More brand recognition, followers, email subscribers, leads, sales, etc..I really enjoy my review meetings with this team because they cut out the fluff and marketing jargon and just keep it straight. We focus on the things that are actually making an impact.

Workflow was great. I just email or text them whenever I need something.

I have been working with LYFE Marketing since 2015 and still continue to today. LYFE has helped us grow so much. I can not say enough positive things about this company. You have to be careful who you trust especially in the advertising and marketing space as their are an abundance of scams. You can definitely trust that LYFE Marketing can help you grow! They helped us create 3 things to get us started which were landing pages, videos and ads. We were impressed with everything initially so we launched which they helped to execute as well.

Great company to work with. We were flooded within leads after the first two months of working with them. I like their team and results.

The results. We were blown away with the initial response from the ads.

They posted on our Facebook page every day. I appreciated how quickly they were able to turn around posts since our specials would change weekly. They also helped us to grow our followers and track customers.

We definitely saw an initial increase in customers and we believe their consistency helped us to maintain the crowds.

I enjoy working with their team. It's pretty easy for us. We tell them what we need and they get a post going. Occasionally, we spend money to boost the post which helps as well.

Beyond just the results, their customer service stands out.

There were times when comments or messages came in that they missed, but in general, they responded pretty quickly.

We started to see some initial leads at first, but they were costing us alot. After several tweaks, they started to drive us profitable leads and clients. I am happy with our results so far.

I enjoyed working with their team. Communication was really easy and professional.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Besides the results, I really like how they are patient with me. As someone with not alot of experience with this, I feel like I may ask stupid questions, but they really take the time to break everything down.

I think they should do video marketing since that helps increase conversions rates, but other than that, we are good.

We chose them based on price and process. It was clear they were the price leader, but they we were impressed with their overall approach. They make sure you have everything in place before launching your ads.

We went through a proposal call where they showed me, in-depth, what we needed to do to be successful with Facebook ads. Then we signed the contract. After that, we had an initial call with our Account Manager and reviewed the business goals. Then about a week later, we reviewed their deliverables. After review, we launched and start to track results. This all took place over about the first 20 days.

I talked to their Business Development rep, Anthony and then worked with Jennifer as my Account Manager.

We started getting some leads almost instantly. Our struggle was making sure we were getting the right leads and following up with everyone. The team put together some email and text automations that really helped.

Workflow was easy. I just reviewed their deliverables and asked alot of questions. I mainly schedule a call with them when I need to know what's going on.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our first roadblock was following up and talking to the right leads. We were wasting alot of time talking with people who did not have a budget or were really serious. LYFE Marketing put together an automation that helped us talk to the right people.

No, I have a good experience with everyone I encounter at LYFE.

Lyfe was challenged to generate creative ad campaigns targeted toward distinct audiences. LYFE used existing data and also researched social media audiences to find the best match for the product. LYFE created a branded ad campaign using creative layouts that fit into an overall branding stragegy - including graphic standards. LYFE then placed the media, monitored all activities and reported on a periodic basis. The team was always available to meet if required.

The team was composed of a team leader (David P), and overall company supervisor and a group of talented artists. It was great to have a dedicated and knowledgeable point person with whom to interact.

LYFE Marketing’s advertising support increased sales for our company. Since this accomplishment was exactly the goal of our project, we were very happy!

The workflow between our two teams was great. Whenever I wanted something edited, I simply emailed them. LYFE Marketing was quick to make changes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Everyone from LYFE Marketing was kind and knowledgeable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I selected LYFE Marketing because they fit within our budget. In my opinion, if they made a commission on the increased budget that we established, they would've worked harder to bring in more sales. If we had increased our investment fivefold, we would have put that money back into our advertising. 

I believe this is the case because for a month, they never called me to discuss how to improve the ads. If someone a team wants a larger budget, they should call each week to recommend improvements.
